Description

Those Fire warriors who prove themselves in battle earn the right to wear a battlesuit and bear the name of Shas'ui. The best and bravest may be honoured by being elevated to become a bodyguard for the army commander. A squad consists of between 1 and 3 battlesuits. The box contains a single battlesuit with all weapon options and a Gun Drone. All models are to 28mm scale and will need assembly and painting.

Tau Broadside Battlesuits have a fearsome reputation in the 40k community and for good reason. In previous editions their twin-linked railguns were the bane of armored targets everywhere. 6th Edition nerfs them considerably, but with the proliferation of flyers they still fulfill a vital role of accurate and powerful AA. Also with the option to be decked out in missiles, they can tear through light armor, monstrous creatures, and heavy infantry. The models are an improvement on the old broadsides, which were just Crisis suits with big guns and missile racks tacked on. I am not a huge fan of the rifle-style railgun, but I will be using these as missile platforms. ... show more

    • What to expect
The box came in the new addition and not the old as advertised in the picture. It was also slightly beaten up and worn but that can't be helped sometimes. Overall the item itself was delivered as promised and nothing was damaged.

I love these guys, and no tau can run enough of them. With Broadside spam being popular and the hammerhead getting a nerf to the railgun, these guys are the new tau go to heavy support. With the High yield missile system on them, they rain death from anywhere. Only reason for 4 of 5 stars is due to limited posing without some serious conversion work. Which isnt a hassle for me, but for some thats a down. ... show more
