  • One of the best for enterprise software sales executives
Format: Kindle
As a SaaS CEO directly involved in Sales, I loved this comprehensive book by David. His sales philosophy of helping the customer get the best solution even if you have to challenge them is a fundamental requirement for a successful sales executive and growing business. He writes: "if you walk into a client meeting and start talking about something completely unexpected, even if it creates a little tension in the room, the customer might perk up soon after and react with, "Whoa, I never thought of that before." This is what it takes to differentiate your company and your product from the rest. It is a must-read. We use it for training our sales teams. ... show more

  • Highly recommend 'Game of Sales' to learn about software sales and improve your game..
Format: Paperback
I'm a big fan of David Perry's 'Game of Sales'. I've read a lot of Sales books in my time, and I really appreciated how well this book specifically captured the world of software sales. For those aspiring to enter this industry or refine their game- the recommendations were spot-on. The book covers an extremely methodical framework to drive repeatable success. What I thought was particularly unique and valuable were the chapters on challenging conversations, the dark side of sales. Very candid input which isn't often seen in these types of books. Great read, highly recommended. ... show more
