  • Great Starter Rifle
This was my first airsoft rifle and have used it for about 7 months continuously and put it through it's paces. Overall, I think it's a pretty solid starter rifle. The cost is low enough and the value for what you get is solid. The gun is reliable, maneuverable, fairly lightweight, and easy for anyone to handle (would even be good for younger players). The mag release and fire mode switches are easy to use and do not stick. It has rails and mount points for all your accessories. It does have a couple drawbacks. First, i advise you to buy some mid-cap m4 mags and a crank speed loader. The hi-cap mags that come with it are meh... and not reliable enough for me. The first games I played i was having terrible feeding problems with the stock hi-cap mag and another hi-cap mag. After buying some Lancer mid-caps, the feed problem was solved. Also, when loading the mag always double check it's fully seated in the mag slot. If not pull the mag and reseat it. Otherwise, rounds will jam or the mag will fall out. Second, you'll want to tighten the stock bolt (which holds the stock to the body). My stock started falling off almost immediately after unpacking it. I'm not sure why it wasn't tightened enough when assembled, but it seems common from other reviews. To do this, open the battery compartment in the stock. You'll need a long screw driver to tighten a bolt deep inside. DO NOT over-tighten the bolt or I suspect you'll break your stock like other reviewers have done. After making that bolt snug, i have zero problems with the stock coming off. Third, this is a shorter rifle so you aren't going to get quite the same ranged accuracy as other rifles. Tweaking the hop up can help some with range and use .25 BBs or .28 I personally like the flexibility of a shorter lighter rifle, so this fits my playstyle fairly well. But, at more range, this rifle is not the best. Just be aware you won't be sniping with it. You'll likely average between 280-340 FPS with .25 BBs which is fine for most paintball fields and close quarters. If you are playing in big open areas you'll probably be out-ranged by your opponents. Overall, I really enjoy this rifle and don't regret purchasing it ($170). I later purchased the Sig Sauer 556 from my friend thinking it was an upgrade and really appreciated this rifle more after playing a few games with the other gun. ... show more

  • Great beginner airsoft gun
This is my first decent full auto airsoft gun, and so far I've been quite happy with it. I've got two of these so far both on sale. One for 130 and the other for 140. If it wasn't for the price than I certainly wouldn't have gotten this one, but you really can't beat the price. Sure you can get a nicer Lancer Tactical for 220 but it's not worth the extra 80 dollars. The accuracy is really great on this gun, although it certainly isn't 450 FPS. I would say it's more around 350, which is still pretty good. It's super easy to get accessories for it, such as basically all Lancer Tactical magazines (I've got one myself). It's really sturdy, and certainly has a realistic feel to it. I know 7 people in my immediate area who have it, and no ones complained. For a beginner gun, I would highly recommend. A lot of people mentioned the stock coming off. The reason for this is that there is a coupling at the end of your stock. You can just hand tighten that, and it keeps your stock in place. It's a really obvious coupling, and it's super easy to tighten. That coupling tightens your stock, to your actual gun. If the coupling is loose, then the weight of the stock can cause it to break off. It doesn't get loose very often, but it might be out of the box. Again, it's a super easy thing to tighten, and it doesn't come off very often. But I can see how that could cause the stock to break off, if you don't notice it. ... show more

  • This is just the best deal for beginner AEGs
Bought this for my 12yo son a few months ago. He's put about 8000 rounds through it and dry fired it more than that. He takes it with him everywhere and, while he takes care of his stuff for the most part, he's not easy on it either. This thing just works. It's a good weight, shoots more than 300FPS and shoots fast. Even has some metal frame parts which even more expensive rifles don't have. To top it all off, it's FDE. For the realism and durability, it's a winner. ... show more

  • Best budget airsoft gun?
I have been an airsoft player for many years, and my original gun I started with broke. I didn't really have much money at the time, so I decided to try out this budget gun. It exceeded my expectations so much. The gun shoots amazing and has a really good rate of fire. It says on the box that it shoots 450 fps, but I think it is probably around 350-400. I only have one problem with this gun though. The magazine that the gun comes with does not feed very well at all to the gun. You have to be winding the wheel constantly. I would recommend getting different mid cap mags or different hi cap mags. If you get different mags this gun is amazing for the price point and I would definitely recommend it to new airsoft players. ... show more

Bought as a present for our nephew. He loved it! When fully charged, this thing has some zing! It will put a hole in a can!

  • Heavy Duty!
Seems to be very well-made and realistic looking. Anxious for our son to open on Christmas morning. Should be a lot of fun. It is heavy - my wife was surprised when we took it out of the box.
