Features

  • Elite Renegade (dark earth/ black)Spring Powered, Single Shot Mil-Style Rifle

Description

The Game Face GFR37 Elite Renegade is a spring-powered single-shot airsoft rifle built around simplicity and dependability. No batteries, no charging cables, no mid-game power issues. Rack the bolt, and it is ready to go. At up to 350 FPS with 6mm BBs, the Elite Renegade has solid range for field and backyard use. The 400-round mag keeps your ammo supply up during extended skirmishes, so you are spending less time reloading and more time actually playing. The adjustable hop-up system is worth taking the time to dial in. It controls the backspin applied to each BB, which directly affects how far and how flat the BB travels. Tune it for the BBs you are running, and you will get noticeably better performance than a fixed hop-up provides, especially at longer distances. The all-weather synthetic stock holds up to outdoor use across different conditions. The metal barrel handles the mechanical load without the flex you would get from a plastic barrel. A Picatinny rail on top gives you a mounting point for optics, red dots, or other accessories as you build out your loadout. At 24.25 inches and built for 6mm airsoft BBs, the Elite Renegade is an accessible entry point for newer players and a solid backup or training product for experienced ones.

    • A bit overpriced, and you'll have to swap the rear sight. Perfect in every other way.
This gun is a bit of an enigma. Half of the parts feel like a cheap spring bb gun should: Cheap. Other parts like the rail covers and stock feel like they were pulled of a high quality 300+ dollar airsoft gun. Pros: * Made by Crosman * Pinpoint accurate if you change the rear sight * Wonderful for backyard plinking * Uses a standard picatinny rail system so you can put other attachments on it. * Comes with enough free BBs to completely fill the magazine * The sling points are durable enough to put an actual 2 point rifle spring on instead of a cheap airsoft sling. The rear sling mount is reinforced enough to put a 1 point rifle sling on. *This gun feels extremely durable Cons: *The included rear sight is awful. It's canted off at a noticeable angle and wobbles if you adjust it for elevation. *The picatinny rails are plastic, so this gun can't handle heavy metal sights from real firearms. I have a 4x32 Beileshi rifle scope that I bought for my Ruger Air Hawk and it's far too heavy to safely stay attached. I am able to attach my Feyachi 1200 lumen flashlight with no problems, however. *Since the rear sling point is reinforced, it's almost to thick to put a sling on. Be prepared to scuff and scratch the sling mount. All in all, if you feel the current price of 44 USD (at the time of writing this review) is worth it, definitely buy this spring airsoft gun. You won't regret it. ... show more

    • Excellent airsoft gun
I got this to help carefully teach my son how to plink cans, since we're all cooped up. It definitely fits that bill. This gun is basically the old WELL-M4 airsoft carbines, but with some very important improvements. The main improvement is the flat top rail. The rear iron sight that comes with this it is an airsoft knock off of the real thing. But, for airsoft, it does work. (We did have to glue a painted back dowel to the front sight to raise the front sight, for shooting things like paper targets at 10 to 15 ft distance.) Overall, it's impressive how accurate it is. It's not too hard to charge the spring, so that's nice too. It has a nice heft to it, and the RAS rail covers do slide on and off. Overall, this is a step up from the WELL-M4 type airsoft guns. Naturally, it's going to have all the same downsides, therefore, as one of those - in other words, eventually the stocks going to break off the body, and the charging handle's going to snap off from the spring piston. But compared to a WELL M4-type, it's well worth the money to buy this option. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for

But onto the review: It’s not the most accurate thing in the world obviously being a springer. It shoots fast and hard, but when using this thing I burned through the ammo quick. You should point up when cocking the charging handle or else the bb falls out the front (just a theory). As for the build it’s pretty good for it being plastic. You should still be fragile like with any air soft gun but it feels pretty sturdy and fun to use. Overall rating 3.5/5 stars. Only things holding it back from it being a 5, is it being a springer and it’s plastic build. ... show more

    • Very accurate
I love this gun! The gun is very accurate but I recommend getting a CVlife scope on it, I've bought two and they work amazing. Already put about 5000 rounds through them with no issues. Very satisfied with these guns

    • Great for a little kid, not great for a comicon costume.
Super lightweight and pretty cheesy. This was ordered for a comic con costume but not used.

    • Definitely worth value of money.

Amazing quality for such a low price no real issues attached a red dot sight and sling and very accurate seems durable treat it right obviously not somthing to jerk around and slam as it's plastic so not the most durable item so I'd say user error if it breaks.

    • Firing mechanism broke within 24 hours - no way to replace?
Gun looks and feels great for my son, especially for the price. But once he started actually shooting airsoft bbs, it took less than 100 rounds for the cocking slider to break internally and no longer work. The contact website provided by amazon seems to be crosman directly (a different brand, this model was not on their site), returns require a shipment back (which I'm assuming is going to be at least half the price of a new one). So I don't see a way to replace. I don't know if we just got a dud, but unfortunately, we can't recommend if you're wanting to actually shoot airsoft bb's. Decent for cosplay or as a toy gun that isn't airsoft. ... show more

    • It's exactly what I wanted.
This gun is exactly what I wanted. It has metal gears, it's medium weight, and has a little storage in the butt stock. The buttstock did fall off once but it was an easy fix once I figured out how to do it correctly. There's one setting on it that makes it go farther and another setting that makes it go less far. It's best to have 6mm bbs. it has a sort of scope that you can adjust in the front or back. It has a adjusting buttstock. It can carry 20 BB's each load and it carries 500 in the magazine. It's not that hard to cock, it is not battery powered though; but, it's pretty good. It hasn't jammed yet. I suggest using it for Airsoft battles and such stuff like that, but it's pretty much exactly what I wanted. ... show more
