I really like this PSU and its worked great for me, but honestly I'm likely going to be replacing it within the next year or two simply due to it being neither modular or a "name brand". This doesn't make this a bad PSU, it looks sweet and has had no issues, but quite frankly I just wish I would've spent more and bought something else and I recommend you do the same. It's the POWER SUPPLY, pretty important, get the absolute best you can afford. Corsair still has non-modular power supplies if you're on a budget. I don't like the fact the CPU cable doesn't state CPU, but instead its blank, a first time builder could be confused by that, most importantly, the GPU cable does state Pcie, so that's good, and I dislike the fact the company markets this as modular when it isnt modular at all. This PSU screeches like a banshee. The fan must have been faulty right out of the box. The bearings are going bad or already bad. I will be returning this item. Don't buy one if you like your sanity. I unplugged all the other system fans one by one to ensure it was the PSU

I was replacing a Gamdias Kratos 550B from a Skytech gaming PC; my biggest problem aside from not knowing all the standards was the size of the PSU. Many of the other units were physically larger so I played it safe and went with the same brand/size. My hard drive is located in front of the PSU and it's very tight. I'm hoping the jump to the 750G will give me headroom and not stress out the unit; the 550B had about 100 hours before dying. This one has been install for a few week and has about 20hrs. It's quiet enough when you don't flip the switch to 100% fan (then you can't hear yourself think.) ... show more
