I put up a fence to keep deer out of my orchard and surprised myself that its working. For deer you have to have 3 strands, one high, one in the middle and one low but the most important is to have a 4th wire outside this line at hip height, basically you're making your fence 3D if you get my meaning. Deer can't see in 3D so they won't jump it. I used the 6 strand wire on my first fence, this one is 9, I need it to last and I need to make it a lot bigger so, thank you Gallagher. ... show more

Been using turbo wire for several year's, it is by far the best poly electric wire on the market. Poly rope wire doesn't last forever but it does hold up good for 4 to 5 years unlike other brands I have tried over the years.

This is a great conductive wire. It took me quite a while to run such a large amount, during this time some of my "little darlings" chewed it in several places. However, when I switched the box on it stood up because of the multi-wire strands so I didn't have to go back and replace the damaged areas. Have been using this for over a year now and first roll worked well enough that I bought another roll. Durable and strong. Yeah, costs more but is good value for money. Much easier to use than solid galvanized. Use as refill for the unrolling machine.
