    • Good, Minimal Case
I purchased the case because I wanted a slim, lightweight case that allowed me to showcase the phone's metallic backing. I really like the feel of the case- it provides sufficient grip while still allowing me to easily slide the phone in and out of my pocket. Surprisingly, most of the grip comes from the hard clear plastic on the back (my hands are a bit clammy most of the time, which is probably why). The "side grip" pattern really doesn't do much. Overall, the design is very minimal while still retaining a bit of style. I like how the front of the case provides a lip on the top and bottom edges so that I can set the phone face down without the screen touching whatever surface I lay it on. The case does not interfere with the edge screen. I haven't dropped my phone yet, so I can't really speak to the protective quality of the case itself. My only complaint is that the clear plastic material seems to easily be smudged, scratched, or otherwise dirtied up to such an extent that I find myself trying to clean it several times a day. Great price, fast shipping, and Great case. I hate having a case on my phone so I try to find a case that is thin and see thru, this one fit the bill. It fits the phone the way it should, Nice an snug, Easy to get the phone out to get the dust out from behind it. So far it seems to protect my phone pretty well, I don't expect it to protect it from a huge fall but good for small drops and bumps and good scratch protection. Would recommend this case if your looking for basic protection without one of those huge bulky cases that completely hide your phone.     • Perfect case for protection and visibility.
This case is wonderful. It has given my phone the protection it needs while still allowing me to see the back side. Why would I want to see the back? I bought a vinyl sticker I of the Flash that I absolutely love. I wanted more protection since this was just a sticker but most cases block the view. This case however lets me have the protection I need and still be able to see my sticker. Also, I dropped my phone and actually lost it for awhile while on vacation. It fell hard enough to cause my screen protector to have several tears in it. The case however was fine and the phone was unharmed. The other thing I like is that it doesn't wrap around the front so far that it causes my screen protector to peal off. I did have to cut the protector a little bit, but other cases I've owned causes any protector to have bubbles or if glass, to just not adhere at all. Pros: Great visibility of any artwork you decide to put on the back. Great protection from drops. Able to use screen protectors without having the case cause it to peel off or show bubbles.     • Works well if you do not use a screen protector
Case is well made and looks nice. My only concern is the case has a "sharp edge" along the sides of the screen that peels up the screen protector. Doesn't hurt the screen, only the screen protector gets damaged. Ugly and you end up with dirt under the edges of the screen protector. Not sure if there is a solution but perhaps if they softened the inside edge along the screen a little, that would help. I did have another case on the phone for the one month + that I had to wait for this one (another story) and the other case did not cause the screen protector to peel like this one. The case is semi-hard and holds the phone well. The buttons are easy to push WITH PRACTICE. You have to push the buttons pretty straight and on center to get them to work. The buttons do not stick out much and you really cannot feel them easily. This is both good and bad. I enjoy they do not stick out and get bumped by accident. On the down side, you have to train yourself exactly where the buttons are from memory. Was a real pain at first but got use to it after a week or two. First of all, let me just start with if you want a clear case for your S7 Edge, this one is pretty good. Originally I wanted a clear one because the phone looks so nice, and I got it in silver, so I didn't want to hide it behind an all-black case or any other opaque case. It fits on the phone just right, feels ok in your hands, and all that. However, despite the positives, I am replacing the case and will not be using it. I had a Zagg Invisible Shield on my phone. Unfortunately, the case fits so snuggly, it began to unpeel my screen protector in two corners. I didn't notice right away, and by the time I did, it had warped the screen protector so much that even without the case, it wouldn't stay on the screen right. Not only that, but I had already ordered a Zagg glass protector, which is thicker than the previous one. It definitely wouldn't work with this case! At least I assume it wouldn't. So, instead, I will be trying a Zagg InvisibleShield Glass screen protector with an OtterBox Commuter case, see how that works out. Although this case didn't end up working for me, if any of you don't want a glass screen protector, or any regular film screen protector, this case should work just fine for you. Heck, you can probably still use it with a thin film protector, just be careful putting it on. It's at a good price and the quality is there, it just fits too snuggly for the screen protection I want so I won't be keeping it. ... show more
