This has become my go-to mat for the past 6-8 months. The thickness has been perfect for my HIIT and strength yoga classes. I got the 5mm. Just enough padding to protect my back but not too much where it’s too bouncy or I loose my balance. The mat hasn’t deteriorated either, even after wiping down with antibacterial spray. The mat is priced well and has enough padding to be comfortable for even my bony self, but the grip isn't enough for downward facing dog. My hands slip even before I start sweating.
