This Gaiam Classic Fitness hat is women’s sized, which fits my head a lot better than traditional baseball hats. It doesn’t have a lot of excess material at the top and it doesn’t bother my ears. It’s also very lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy when wearing it like other baseball caps do. I actually have a bigger head in some aspects, so I’m really glad I gave this one a try! There are a lot of nice details, such as the minimalistic metal (not plastic) Gaiam “flower of life” logo, metal adjustable strap piece, and the excess strap material tucks into the hat. The material has a good hand feel, it feels like nylon but it’s not a cheap version, sort of feels like the Uniqlo crescent bag material but a little nicer. It packs down easily except for the brim part, which I think has a plastic piece underneath the fabric - it’s hard but a little flexible. The stitching is good. I got it in black and it looks a lot nicer and sleeker than most baseball caps. The only thing that’s a negative is that I would prefer the back strap to be a plastic tab so I can undo it to put my ponytail up. This one doesn’t open up like that, so I have to undo the strap a bit to get my ponytail in and then tighten it back up. But, it’s not really a big deal and I think the look of the fabric strap is nicer than plastic. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase! ... show more

I like this hat because it has some style to it while I wear it to work out. I had an unknown young baseball player approach me to say he liked the hat, which made me smile. It is comfortable and well constructed.

It's very cute, but even with my small head it barely covers my skull. Other people who've tried it on say it's way too small. Not too tight, it just doesn't come down low enough on the head. This makes it come off way too easily with even the slightest breeze.

The material on the hat is hard and stiff. The hat does not size easily. Even though the hat is not expensive it is definitely a waste of money. Not good quality at all.
