The mat was longer than my last yoga mat. It has a non slip surface on the bottom and the cork material is much more environmental than synthetic. I actually am using it for myself for stretching but at night for my very old dog who has trouble lowering himself down. Throw rugs don't help.. but this mat helps him a lot. Got this for my grandma as a gift. I checked it ou and was extremely jealous. So here I am FINALLY ordering a new cork mat for myself…haven’t had a new mat in 5 years, with two dogs and near daily use it’s got some wear & tare but still works so I never decided on a new one until now.

    • Lightweight. Only can roll one direct. Great floor grip

Light weight. Very comfortable to use. The cork material does seem to suction to the skin which is good for avoiding any awkward noises or feeling. I love the mat. One warning is dont roll it with the cork side in. The cork will quickly crack which will loosen the cork.
