I couldn’t help myself. I have a small TCP Global dual chamber air pump, and the tiny mobile, rechargeable air brush kit. But this one was a great compromise, The true, dual chamber airbrush pump is exactly as you’d expect - accurate and can run forever, but bulky. You can lug it around the house, but a bit of a chore and can nick furniture. Over $100 and no airbrush. The rechargeable mobile is extremely portable, but the airbrush has a little grit to the trigger. The single pressure setting I measured was 14psi. Nothing close to its rated output. Worked well enough for me, but I use very thin paints. A single pressure can limit the paints you can use, or the level of coverage detail you want. When you consider this being a few dollars more, it’s the good compromise. NIOSH sound ratings was about 65db. Taking a pressure gauge to the pump, it’s pretty accurate. Most settings were either dead on, or +1 psi max. The least accurate was at the bottom 15psi setting, it’d constantly hit 17psi. Otherwise, pretty happy. I like its portability, and the adjustable pressures an I can throw different airbrushes at it for some detail or coverage work with a larger airbrush. In regards to noise, it’s not loud, but the loudest of the three - likely because it’s in a plastic box. The full, metal compressor is quieter due to the heavy metal chassis and makes a soothing purr. The small rechargeable, portable compressor is quieter due as well, likely because it’s completely sealed, but as you’ve likely read, can have overheating problems on extended use. This compressor is quiet enough that no one minds it on, but just loud enough I’m asked to turn it off if someone’s watching TV. I LOVE the dual airbrush connections, very handy. I don’t like the airbrush holsters. Feels like they’re made for lefties. Otherwise you want to rotate the box 90 degrees counter clockwise, which also makes a lot more sense with the button layout. Minor complaints, but a really good starter set all around. The airbrush works well for general miniature work, and the engagement is smooth. And if you grow your airbrush toolset or paint brands, this compressor will be ready for it too. The portability makes it so easy to quickly zenithal or highlight In your room, full blown prime in the garage/outside or bring it to a friend’s house.

Day 1: loving it! I’ve never used an airbrush before, so I can’t compare it to a full size compressor or other brush, but as a newbie I CAN say that this was an extremely painless first experience. I did buy a moisture trap to put between the airbrush and hose, so I’m not sure how much that’s adding to the experience, but it’s working great so I recommend it just in case. Also, I went ahead and got Vallejo airbrush paints to start with rather than trying to mix it myself (and I have some Gaahleri paint on the way from the website as well). It’s super quiet, very compact, and probably pretty newbie-proof considering I managed to prime two statues and some assorted other minis without breaking anything. 10/10, will update if it stops working or smth. For now though I’d say it’s totally worth the money if you want an air brush but can’t justify a big one.

item arrived undamaged. Because of health issues this review is very late coming. We have been very impressed with this little unit. It does exactly what it says and it's quiet and very easy to use. The included airbrush is decent(could be better) and easy to clean. When operating it is not a very noisy machine, although it of course gets a little louder as you increase pressure. Thus far we have had no issues spraying paint Here are my only issues(nitpicks) with the unit and the reason for four stars... No other accessories such as replacement O rings or protective tips for the airbrush Both airbrush holders point in the same direction. Should be able to turn around or reverse these holders. Would have been nice it the pressure could be raised a couple more bars to 30-35 PSI for thicker paints. The included airbrush while decent could be a bit better quality with maybe a different size needle and nozzle. Would be nice if the AC plug was not in the same area as air hoses. Either flat plug under machine or on opposite end. Lettering on the machine could be larger making it easier to read at a glance. (so message to the company if you have a newer machine or improvements we would be happy to test it) None of these(issues) distract from using the machine and they are more nitpicks. It's small convenient and easy to use. We like it!!

This airbrush kit is amazing! It comes with very nice airbrush that is easy to control and for the price, is pretty good for some detail work. The compressor runs continuously during use, but it's not very loud. It has really good, consistent pressure, so no worries about sputtering.

This is a replacement for a larger more clunky old kit. This one is great, not loud, reserves enough to hold in the house. Adjustable pressure. I'm anewbie so this is just what I needed. Easy to clean, compact, and quiet enough.

Amazing that this excellent bundle is budget priced! The compressor is all it’s cracked up to be. Powerful. Versatile. Quiet. The airbrush, although not the best in the Gaahleri line, performs well. I also bought a Gaahleri Ghad-39 airbrush which performs as well as any high end model.

It works fine but it should come with a moisture trap, I hope future kits take that in mind. Other than that, it's great, very silent, easy to take apart, easy to setup.

Maybe 3.5/5 Stars. The Airbrush itself is the weakest point of the entire assembly. Nearly impossible to find different needle sizes that fit it. It also has a habit of throwing out "spurts" of paint regardless of pressure or paint consistency. Though the main issue is how absurdly long it takes to clean between paints. If you haven't absolutely fully disassembled and cleaned the brush between colors? Congratulations you've wasted all the paint you added into it for the next color and have to start the entire cleaning process over. And if any of the assembly isn't tightened perfectly, even with the cap on top of the paint cup, it will explode. Until I got a deal on an Iwata brush, I had honestly just assumed how long it took was the standard. You may be asking how this machine got 3.5 stars after all that? The compressor is just amazing. It's quite as can be. Easy to select between different pressures based on what you need. It looks rather sleek, doesn't take up much space and when I decided I may just return everything once I got the new brush and just get a cheaper compressor. I couldn't find anything to match this compressor in overall price and utility. You're looking at $129 to get standalone compressors that are just overkill or if you try to go cheaper than this cost, all you are finding are basically CO2 canisters. In short, buy for the compressor, replace the airbrush first chance you get.
