Review for PRETTY GARDEN Satin Mock Neck Sleeveless Cocktail Dress. Purchased the SMALL in the Dark Blue. I’m 5’7” & 120lbs. I’m not big busted, but I am broad chested with broad shoulders. I thought the dress was vey well made & the fabric was of good quality. I tried buying this dress from other vendors/brands on Amazon & the quality, fabric, fit, & style was not the same at all. I returned all of them, except this one from Pretty Garden. I like the fit on me & the color was very rich & vibrant. It washed & dried very well too. I received many compliments at the event I attended. I thought it was stunning in color, style & fit. I got two colors to see which I liked best and one came used with splotches of makeup on it. So my first impression was not great. HOWEVER, I steam the yellow one, wore to an event and got so many compliments. It was comfortable and looked classy. I wish I had gotten a full body picture but you can at least see how it looks up top. Included pic of the other color which I obviously returned but I would still give this dress a try. ... show more

I am very happy with this dress! I don't usually have luck with sizing but I ordered this in a small (5'3", 120lbs) and it fit perfect. The dark wine red is very classy and the material is silky. It is comfortable and I can wear a halter bra with it. I'm pairing it with cream suede strappy sandals, a thin gold belt and a pashmina that ties it all together. The waist is a thin elastic gathering that is hidden by the flowy top. The wrinkles came right out with some light steaming. It's a great dress for an evening wedding. ... show more

I really was surprised by how much I like this dress, the fit was great even to hide a small mama pouch. Color was true and just very elegant. The cons: the fabric catches/runs very easily 😔 I wore it to church today and by the time service was over I already had a run on the side (I’m sure it was my kiddo). The satin is also not breathable so the smallest amount of heat and humidity had it sticking to my skin. You’d want a skip except it’s a summer dress. I purchased this dress thinking it was a less expensive version of a similar dress produced by Petal and Pup (also available on Amazon). While the Pretty Garden version is well made and comfortable, it is not the same dress. Petal and Pup's Annabelle Halter Neck dress has a bolder, more vibrant/dramatic floral pattern and a slightly different sleeveless and neck design. The Pretty Garden dress has a slip made into the dress (a plus in my opinion), while the Petal and Pup dress does not (you'll need to purchase a half slip separately if you don't like the slightly see-through look). Both dresses are nice, I just like the fit and look of the Petal and Pup dress better. Don't be fooled by the picture on Amazon (the Petal and Pup design is featured for both dresses). My Petal and Pup dress arrives today in the size I actually need. Can't wait to review it! ... show more
