Was skeptical at first but this hammock really performs. I am 6’3 and 230lbs and had plenty of room. I did not feel like the hammock was going to rip or tear. Recently did backpacking trip with it. The mosquito net worked great and setup was a breeze. I first setup the hammock incorrectly, causing the net to fall in the center (see my photos). After adjusting the straps and tension, the hammock sits straight and the net taught, creating a cozy sleep tube. The carabiners seem to be strong and have nice action although they are a bit heavy. The straps are especially nice, they are lightweight and surprisingly strong. The only thing this hammock is missing is a rain fly. ... show more

This hammock is very durable, lightweight, easy to set up. I been using it in my van to sleep in for half a year. Love the mosquito net it an amazing invention hammock combination. But!!! Yes a BUT!!! * The hammock is durable and strong but a little thin i could hear the buzzing mosquito right next to my ear pressing against the hammock while sleeping. I didn't realize they were dinning on my feet and arms through the hammock material. Maybe i have super mosquitoes where i live otherwise this product i recommend. Wear socks, don't sleep in your underwear like me the you will be fine. ... show more

Item self-stores in it's bag which makes it easy to carry, if a bit more complicated to pack back up. Setup works ok with a stand or a couple of trees, and the wrap-around belts are fairly secure. The problems come from needing to make sure you setup the zippers for the netting so you can reach them after you get in (by default they will be at your feet or head which is difficult to reach once you're in this), and that without any reinforcement from the sides you tend to get a sling more than a hammock. So you tend to slide down toward the middle, which means your head will not get much from the shade which is too far away. For the price it's hard to get too bothered by this, but it means you're not going to want to use this as much as something that would either let you stake out the sides, or more expensive versions that have a reinforced frame to maintain the width. ... show more

Lies very skinny, but can definitely fit two people (see photo 3). Like the "shade" element to it, but can't seem to figure how to get the wire out for it to lay flat as in some of the photos. It seems even without the mesh, it'll just stay up. No problem exactly with that. In the photos you can see the metal rod that helps the hammock keep its shape for the netting, and it looks like it could be removed but it's very firm in there with a LOT of resistance to get out. I don't see it as a bother though so will likely just leave it. I live in Texas, and so really wanted a hammock with a net anyway. Other things to note, the carrying case is attached on the outside, and is unlike most camping hammocks. Most are a bit more stout and fuller. This is a bit more round and flat. Nothing bad about that, just a detail to notice. It's heavier than more expensive hammocks, but not by much (especially when you consider the carabiners and wire). On that though, have only kept it at the backyard to lounge in, so haven't tested its durability against other hammocks I have. However, like the color and the thoughtfulness in design. This hammock is great! The straps are ready to adjust, it's big enough to cuddle with my kids easily, easy to get in and out of the netting. And I love that the netting is self supported so I don't need additional strings, ropes, etc. I use it in my own yard, but I'm so allergic to mosquito bites that it's nice to relax outside on a summer evening without worrying about getting bit. ... show more

I was hoping the bug net supports would keep the top from fully collapsing, but it does not. I thought maybe I needed to stretch the hammock out more so that it would not sag as much, but that didn't help and my son ended up flipping in his over night causing the net to tear at the zipper. Since buying this hammock, I had an opportunity the use the Hennesy Explorer hammock and found by sleeping diagonal in it, the hammock worked great and did not collapse overhead. I have not had a chance to try sleeping in the G4Free hammock diagonally to see if it works the same. ... show more
