  • Used in a 9950x3d build and has been ROCK solid.
When I bought the ram I failed to read the "XMP optimized" part and thought I might have issues so I got another brands AMD Expo optimized. Turns out the DOCP profile was more stable and tested as faster than the Expo modules. So this I kept as its price was better and so was the performance. For those who dont know DOCP is XMP tuning for AMD, and this kit works better than the AMD settings... whoda thunk it? Anyway, this is a great kit, style is modern and the RGB LED's are bright and smooth (meaning you cant see the individual diodes like you can on some). Colors are accurate and works well with OpenRGB and Asus's Aurora without issue. Most important is the stability, its very stable in 3 months i have not seen any issues and because im a total nerd I monitor that stuff. There are faster options yes, however for this RAM size/amount you'll be hard pressed to get it working. I feel this is the sweetspot for size & speed. I do a lot of video editing, gaming, and other RAM intensive work and have been completely satisfied with this kit. ... show more

  • Great DDR5 Ram for High End Builds
I recently upgraded my setup with the G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM, and it has been a game-changer! This 96GB kit (2x48GB) running at 6400MT/s with CL32-39-39-102 timing is perfect for anyone looking to push their PC to its limits. Performance: The speed and stability of this RAM are outstanding. My system boots up quickly, and heavy multitasking is a breeze. I primarily use my PC for gaming, video editing, and 3D rendering, and I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in performance. Running multiple resource-intensive programs simultaneously no longer slows down my workflow. Compatibility & Ease of Use: The Intel XMP 3.0 profile made setup straightforward. Once installed, enabling the XMP profile in the BIOS was all it took to achieve the advertised speeds. It’s plug-and-play, which is great for those who aren’t too tech-savvy. Make sure your motherboard supports these speeds to get the best experience. Aesthetic Appeal: The RGB lighting on this RAM is a visual treat! The customizable lighting options allow you to match it perfectly with the rest of your build. The sleek black heat spreaders look premium and add to the overall aesthetic. If you’re someone who likes to show off your PC internals, this is the RAM to get. Overall Experience: I have been running this RAM for over a month, and it has been consistently stable, with no crashes or issues. For anyone building a high-end PC or looking to upgrade, I would highly recommend the G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series. It’s worth every penny for the performance boost and the stunning RGB display. Pro Tip: If you’re planning to use these for gaming, make sure you have a compatible motherboard and CPU to take full advantage of the high speeds. With DDR5 technology, future-proofing your build has never been easier. ... show more

  • Works flawlessly on my Asus X670E Extreme mobo
I currently have BIOS ver.1807 installed. It's from December 2023. Using the Asus ROG X670E Extreme motherboard, with AMD 7950X3D. Previously, I had 2x Trident Z NEO 32GB DDR5/6000 CL30 installed. However, I like more RAM so that I can work better with my 3-camera 4k video projects. It makes a big difference. It's well known that AM5 CPUs have issues with utilizing all four DIMM bays when going above 4800MHz or so (that's a ballpark reference, it varies widely depending on all other parameters (CPU tolerance, mobo type/tolerances, RAM bin strength, etc...). I used to have to do the following to get my 6000Mhz RAM to work: Install one stick into bay B1. Reboot, and verify that it works. Shut down. Install DIMM 2 into bay A1. Reboot, verify functionality. Then, go into BIOS and enable XMP for the rated speed settings. Ensure it boots, then test for stability. Sometimes, it didn't work. Then, I'd have to reset the CMOS and BIOS with the flash button, and start the whole process over again. For me, the latest BIOS update is the most stable version I have ever had. Many people online are stating it causes them problems, but YMMV. So with that said, I decided to take a leap of faith and purchase this RAM. I wanted to make the compromise of more RAM, but with 2x 48GB sticks. Decided to go for this. It booted in non-overclocked mode at 5400MHz with no issues. I rebooted. Then, enabled DOCP Profile 1, and after the next boot, it worked! I did extensive MemTest runs, and there were no hiccups. Very happy to have more RAM. I am even more delighted to have this XMP RAM work super-nicely on my AM5 motherboard. ... show more

  • This memory is confirmed to work as 192 GB with MSI MEG Z790 ACE + i9-13900K
This memory is confirmed to work as 4 sticks installed in an MSI MEG Z790 ACE motherboard with i9-13900K CPU for 192 GB of memory. To achieve stability in MemTest86 with 4 sticks, I had to underclock the memory from CL32/6400 MHz to CL38/5600 MHz by way of the MSI BIOS feature "Memory Try It!" (see attached screenshot). With just 2 sticks installed for 96 GB, this memory runs stable at its listed speed of CL32/6400 MHz as confirmed by MemTest86. If you have a need to fit a large dataset into 192 GB of memory then this memory may be for you. ... show more

  • It is GSkill so it just works!
I verified that this kit was on QVL (qualified vendors list) for the Motherboard I was buying. Plugged it in and it works just fine. Running at 5200/MTS @ 1.1V. Since it is 96GB I do not anticipate having to add any more memory before I build my next system.

  • Absolutely horrible
Doesn't work for AM5 cpu's, this is insanely instable in general and recommend staying away from it. Even if it's on your motherboards QV list, DO NOT TRUST. it doesn't even post in my motherboard, newest bios version too. Will have to return.
