  • Great upgrade and super easy install
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR4 3600 Color: Black
I purchased this G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 64GB kit as part of a system upgrade and immediately noticed a difference. Installation was very easy. I just had to insert the two sticks into the motherboard, enable XMP in the BIOS, and it worked flawlessly. The performance difference is also very noticeable, especially in games. I play a lot of World of Warcraft, and the loading times are faster, and everything just seems to run smoother when there’s a lot going on in the game world. I also have a lot of things open while playing games, and it’s nice to have the extra memory make multitasking very easy. The memory itself is also very attractive. It’s nice and clean in terms of RGB lighting. It also worked very well with the rest of my system lighting. This is a very solid memory kit and exactly what I was hoping for. If you are in the market for a high-capacity memory kit that is very easy to install, then I would definitely suggest this one. ... show more

  • Amazing RAM & Customer Service
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR4 3600 Color: Black
I purchased the 64GB (2x32 GB) DDR4 3600 CL 18 about 2-3 weeks ago to upgrade from a set of 32GB (2x16 GB) DDR4 4000 CL 18 and so far, the new RAM has been performing exceptionally. In my previous configuration, my PC was hitting a bottleneck due to the limited amount of memory available. During gaming sessions, the graphics would stutter and freeze—this went on for a year before I decided enough was enough and pulled the trigger for more RAM. I did some research to see what was on the market before deciding to purchase the G.SKILL Trident Z RGB Series again. My previous sticks were from the same series but after a year of use, they started to cause my PC to BSOD multiple times. I filed a warranty claim with G.SKILL and completed the RMA request through their exceptional customer service. The memory sticks are covered by a limited lifetime warranty and G.SKILL honored it without asking excessive questions unlike many other companies. The new sticks I received continued to work fine until I decided to upgrade with my current purchase. So far, I haven't noticed any issues with the new RAM. My games and other daily tasks are operating noticeably smoother with lower latency and the stutters/frame freezes completely disappearing. As far as the RGB goes, I usually keep it white through G.SKILL's lighting control software. The LED's stay reliably lit and I haven't noticed any discoloration over time with any of the RAM from G.SKILL. I've attached some images of how they look within my setup to this review as well. Considering the amount of frustration I felt before, I can say with confidence that this RAM was money well spent. ... show more

  • AI needs to die
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR4 3600 Color: Black
Got this just before the prices went stupid. Honestly it was a great product and I am happy with it. But I don't know if I would pay the inflated price to get another set. Happy to wait until AI bubble pops and we get access to ram again at a reasonable rate.

  • Works as advertised
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Style: DDR4 3600 Color: Black
Functions as advertised once installed into correct slots and XMP was enabled in bios. Do not plan on suing like a litigious moron.

  • Great RAM, Clean Design, Be Careful with Ryzen Builds
Size: 16GB (2x8GB) Style: DDR4 3600 Color: Black
This RAM is a sleep design, operates well, and has tastefully minimal LEDs. I had minimal trouble installing it (the Trident RAM sticks have offset metal at the top that can make pushing it down into the slot a bit of trouble in cramped systems like mine). I was unable to get this RAM to operate with any overclock using my Ryzen 5 2400G processor. When I enabled DOCP, the system would repeatedly fail to POST before finally setting the RAM to default speed of 2133 MTS. I tried several times to manually overclock it well below the rated clock speed of 3600 MTS (including 3200, 3000, and 2800) but it failed each time. I finally relented and ran it at the stock 2133 MTS with no issues, including some benchmarks. When I replaced the 2400G with a Ryzen 7 5700G, the system booted up and overclocked the RAM to 3600 MTS with no issues. The benchmarks showed the expected high performance. ... show more
