  • Great RAM !
If you want good ram that will last for some time and give a great performance, this is it. Looks awesome with the LED built in. No issues using with a B550 board, and a Ryzen 9. Will order again for other systems and do recommend. Bought cheaper ram ( OLOY ) that got replaced with this. The other brand didnt even last a year, this is rocking so far! ... show more

  • Fast and Works Great at 3600Mhz!
First, I saw another review on this RAM that talks about it not being able to run @ 3600Mhz. This is just false. I've posted a picture with my review showing you the benchmark on this specific RAM. As advertised, when bumping the clock up in your BIOS by applying the DOCP (Direct Over Clock Profile), you'll achieve 3600Mhz without issue (See photo). The other reviewer mentioned they used XMP, this is for an Intel environment and not used with the AMD 5950x CPU they stated to be using. Obviously, you'll need to check that your Motherboard (no matter what chipset) supports that clock speed and that the RAM is compatible with it in the first place. This is my the nuts and bolts of my setup: MOTHERBOARD - ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-Motherboard-Lighting-Heatsinks/dp/B07SW8DQVL/ CPU - AMD-Ryzen 9 5900X 4th Gen 12-core Desktop Processor https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-Processor-24-Threads-Architecture-Technology/dp/B08S7QQDV7/ RAM - G.Skill Trident Z NEO Series 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin SDRAM DDR4-3600 https://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-DDR4-3600-PC4-28800-CL18-22-22-42-F4-3600C18D-64GTZN/dp/B088CTJLHP/ GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition Gaming, 11GB GDDR5X https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Optimized-Interlaced-Graphics-11G-P4-6393-KR/dp/B06Y11DFZ3/ CASE - Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-iCUE-4000X-Mid-Tower-Case/dp/B08C788312/ PSU - CORSAIR RMX Series, RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-RM850x-Certified-Modular-Supply/dp/B015YEI8JG/ SSD - Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-Plus-MZ-V7S1T0B/dp/B07MFZY2F2/ HDD - Seagate IronWolf Pro 4TB NAS Internal Hard Drive https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-IronWolf-Internal-Hard-Drive/dp/B01N98UJSD/ This RAM works great at 3600Mhz. Plugged in changed a couple settings and boom, we're off to the races. System runs completely stable, no heat issues, or instability that I've come across at all. I game with this system a bit but I mostly use it as a creation station: Adobe Suite Work, Unity Game Development, Podcasting, Video Encoding, 3D Modeling, etc. All of these tasks have worked brilliantly and the 64GB of fast RAM have helped make it possible. I'd recommend these RAM sticks and would say you can buy with confidence that they'll work great for you too. Happy Computing! ... show more

  • Works great
I'm using this with a 5600x on a ASRock B450 Gaming-ITX/ac mobo at full 3600MT I was worried as this ram isn't in this mobo's QVL, but it POST'd just fine and one click XMP to get 3600MT worked great.

  • EDIT: Works great
Outdated Review: "Installed these and they ran just fine at a base speed of 2600, but I wanted to get 3600 so like always and everyone else I enabled xmp and my computer lost it, went into a loop boot and the posted in safe mode. Absolute anxiety-inducing nightmare. These may run at 3600 on others apparently, but for my mobo z390e with 4000+ mhz support even, these will NOT go above 2600. I'm not completely sure whether it is my computer but its almost brand new and I haven't messed with it almost at all in it's configuration. I'll keep these for a later build, but for now I'm stuck at 2600 I guess." Edit: So I found out the reason my computer went into a loop boot is because my PROCESSOR cannot go above its apparently-rated 2600mhz, which is quite stupid. Had I known this, I would have never attempted to enable xmp in the BIOS... Therefor these RAM sticks really do run at 3600, and it also makes me wonder why others experienced slower speeds than they saw advertised, because it makes me wonder whether THEY'RE processors are ALSO not rated for 3600. I learned a lot in this, and from now on I will check my processor specs before upgrading to things such as this. Thankyou if you have read my update. ... show more

  • Does Not run at 3600MHZ, Put it in 2 and 4 and it does.
Set the DOCP Profile on my ASUS ROG Strix x570-F motherboard with a 5950X CPU and the system would not post. After a few hours of fiddling, the fastest I can get these to run is 3000 MHZ with 16-18-18-38 timings. 3200 is hit or miss if it works and anything higher does not work at all. Maybe it's something to do with the 5950X CPU as one person here got them working fine with a 5900X. Just a thought, I will be contacting gskill support to discuss the issue. EDIT 5/3/2021: Just spoke with GSKILL support, they advised me to put the RAM in slots 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3, and sure enough it fired right up at the full 3600MHZ and is running stable. So anyone having trouble with this ram training at higher speeds, 2 and 4 should fix you right up. Revising review up to 5 stars now. ... show more

  • Worth it for what I do
I tend to do some gaming but mainly work on music projects for education purposes. My projects for a medley started hitting 17GB of RAM Usage. Upgraded to 64GB with faster speeds and the instruments load faster (which was honestly my main concern). Definitely was worth the purchase.
