Long story short, had a cheap Lenovo ideacentre gaming from like 2021. Recently took out the 12700 and put it in a z790 board I had laying around, bought this kit being the low power 12th gen and runs as advertised, slapped on a 240mm AIO and a couple Arctic fans in a Fractal North case i had hanging out. Bought a new PSU and RTX 5060 to keep it cheap and it's the perfect second or streaming computer. G Skill makes the best. Unfortunately like my main PC, I couldn't OC this kit any further than 5600MTs but likely limitation from the 12700 non K. I'll still take it

Using it with a Ryzen 8700F and an Asus Prime B650M A Ax II mobo. It was a great deal for 2x32 sticks, so far it has been flawless. Recently bought another 2x32G of these and populated all 4 slots on the mobo, just to test the new memory until my next mobo arrives.. Note that it would not boot up with 4 memory sticks. Either one of the 2x32 kits works fine. Not the memory’s fault, its the Asus Prime mobo. Be aware, that the Asus Prime mobo will clock these by default conservatively, at Jedec 4800 MT/s. To get the advertised 5600 MT/s and latencies, you have to turn on D.O.C.P II in BIOS, so that the mobo reads the manufacturer's recommended overclocking settings from the memory sticks. I am able to run these stabile at their advertised specs, with DOCP. The easiest way to verify what speed the RAM is running at is via task manager->performance->memory. Other mobo-s may use a different acronym, e.g. EXPO instead of DOCP.

They work great! Not $700 great, but I'm glad I bought these when I upgraded my motherboard in 2024 😅 They fit just right in my case for me to put a giant air cooler over them so no problems there. But seriously, this would be a 1 for me PERSONALLY if I was looking to upgrade to 64gb TODAY (November 2025). These aren't even new sticks.

Besides getting these after the RAM shortage, making it very expensive everything worked. It fit in my Node 202 case which is for mini-ATX. Didn't have any clearance issues. No software issues so far.

I needed low profile memory to fit underneath my cpu heatsink, and RGB is silly. If that sounds like you, this is a perfect product. No nonsense, super fast and low latency RAM. I used this to replace a 32GB (2x16GB) kit of flare x5 ram. I was primarily looking to increase capacity without sacrificing speed, there was nothing wrong with the old kit. I initially had some instability issues with my gigabyte Z690 Aorus master mother board and i5-13600k cpu. Happy to report that a BIOS update to the latest version fixed all issues and it is stable as a rock (aka issue was motherboard, not the RAM itself.) This is my ~6th pc build since 2005. This is my second flawless ddr5 g.skill brand kit; they have earned a repeat customer.

Feels very snappy. Working great in MSI z690 MEG ACE with i5-13600K. I just plugged it in yesterday, set XMP enabled and haven't had any problem. I was playing 2 games at the same time and doing photo editing, downloading and having 100 tabs open this morning and every OS action performs instantly. So I am not one to stress test or try to tweak, this is normal use for me and it did not disappoint. I stick with a brand when I have good performance with no issues and for me I've never needed to change brands. The price/performance/trust let me pick G.Skill from the first generation i5-750 until today with my thirteenth generation i5-13600K. From some benchmarks I was seeing, this 6400 MT/s is a sweet spot if you just want to set XMP and forget it, but we are talking like 250 FPS or 259 FPS lol. It seems as if 6000 MT/s is a big deal already if you want to save some money! This no-nonsense low profile RAM lets me use my Peerless Assasin 120 SE tower air cooler. Have to raise one CPU fan about 2mm higher to accommodate the RAM, but the air is flowing fine with the push/pull fans. Bonus: the CPU fan will help keep the RAM cool.
