My Dell XPS 9570 had the original 16 GB of RAM in it from its original configuration when I had purchased it in May 2018. I primarily use my laptop for photo editing, and lately I've been working with higher resolution photos and the original 16 GB was no longer cutting it. I was thinking of buying a new laptop but instead decided to try upgrading the RAM. I almost went with Crucial, but then I found these. All good. Took 5 minutes max to install and reboot laptop. Win 10 recognized 32gb (up from 8) after an extended first boot. This is in an i7 7th gen/geforce gtx 950m laptop with 256gb ssd boot drive on windows 10 home. I didn't notice an immediate jump in speed, but once i started a game, things were moving much faster than before. Noticeably faster, in that I was moving sooner than my response rate (didn't realize how slow I respond til now). Haven't done any benchmark testing, and don't plan to, but I'm sure this upgrade is worth the money. Gskill has a lifetime warranty, so no worries about quality. ... show more

Good product, the automatic settings worked perfectly. Sadly, my DELL laptop that I installed this in, specs out & installed 2666 MHz memory, but due to the CPU installed, it limits the RAM MEMORY Timing to 2400 MHz. However, the G Skill auto settings worked to set the memory to THAT setting (2400 MHz) which is compatible with the CPU. So, I didn't get to use the little extra speed, but DO have the lower latency of this set, so THAT's a plus. Glad the G SKill memory auto settings worked or I might have crashed my set-up and not understood why. The added memory REALLY improved the performance of the laptop (8 GB to 32 GB). ... show more

Installed this kit in an HP Elitebook 840 G5. Works flawlessly, no problems. This was one of the cheaper 32gb SODIMM sets and was a great value for a basic business laptop. I’m reviewing this only because there’s always so much conflicting information in Amazon reviews about RAM working in specific models. Note to anyone installing this on a similar HP Elitebook. It takes about a minute for the laptop to do a full POST after swapping the RAM, and you’ll be starting a black screen and some fan noise while it does this. After it POST’s it will complain about the RAM size difference from the last successful POST, accept the change and it boots just like normal. ... show more

Bought this to upgrade RAM in a recently purchased laptop from 16gb to 32gb. The laptop has a 13th generation i5 processor and would benefit from the extra capacity. I've used Gskill memory in the past and it's always proven to function well. If you're looking to upgrade, this will do the trick.
