abunda_amazon_reviews I honestly love this watch. It was perfect for me on all counts but one. When you wear it for a while so that it comes up to body temperature and then go out in the cold, you get hazy condensation on the inside of the crystal. I asked Amazon for a replacement (which came overnight). It turns out that both watches have the same issue, and the replacement (in pic on right) was worse. I returned the replacement immediately and kept the original hoping to be able to live with the problem, but no luck. I sent it back too. These watches should not come from the factory like this. I figure that it was humid in the factory and that is what I am seeing condense inside the crystal going from a warm to cold environment. Casio says that if it clears up after a while it is not a problem but I have to disagree. Expensive, top of the line, water-resistant watches should not have any moisture inside, regardless of the humidity on the factory floor. I can think of a number of ways a factory could ensure the watches are dry when sealed up and packaged. None of my other watches have ever done this, including my original 1983 G-Shock. What makes it worse is that other Master of G watches seem to have the same issue according to some reviews that I have read. I'd buy a GWN1000, GWNQ1000 or even a GWG1000 in a minute, if I wasn't concerned about the out-of-the-box condensation issue. I am seriously bummed since the only watches I want are Casio Master of G.;;Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2019;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Perfect Watch Till I Went Outside;;T. Metz;;;After wearing this watch for a few days now, I am confident that I can supply an honest and thorough review of this product. The overall construction and build quality of this timepiece is excellent, although I am not surprised due to G-Shock's long heritage of manufacturing nearly indestructible products. This is a massive watch although it seems smaller than it actually is. It looks normal on my somewhat small wrists. The GG-1000 is packed full of many useful features including a compass and thermometer. I found the compass to be extremely accurate, illustrating both direction of travel, and degrees. The thermometer is useful but, the user needs to remove the watch for a few minutes to gain an accurate reading. That said, the watch has some downsides as well which contributed to the lower rating. The negative display is nearly impossible to read in low light conditions. Although The GG-1000 is equipped with a LED located at the 6 o'clock position, it fails to illuminate the LCD displays. It does, however, supply adequate light to read the analog hands at night. Additionally, it is difficult to view the LCD screens when the analog hands are in the way. The only way to combat this issue is to awkwardly tilt the watch to attempt to look under the hands or simply wait until the analog dials move on their own as time progresses. It would have been useful for G-Shock to include a feature which allows the user to move the hands out of the way of the two screens. Overall, I am impressed with the durability and functions of the watch. If you are in the market for a well-built and stylish timepiece, I wouldn't let these minor drawbacks dissuade you from purchasing this product. ***UPDATE*** After owning this watch for a couple months now, I have run into a serious problem. The analog hands a losing time while the digital display remains correct. The hands seem to be losing around 5 minutes a day. This issue can be resolved temporarily by setting the hands to the correct time however they immediately begin to lose time after the hands are set correctly. Due to this, I am going to reduce my prior 4-star rating to 3 stars. I am going to be contacting Casio directly to resolve this issue. Once I do so, I will supply an additional update.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2016;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;The overall construction and build quality of this timepiece is excellent, although I am not surprised due to G-Shock's ...;;evan Goldstein;;;I collect G Shocks and have for years.
