Key resin components are made with bio-based resin, a material expected to help reduce environmental impact. The band employs CORDURA re/cor, made from highly durable CORDURA fiber and recycled PET plastic fiber, and is colored with FOOD TEXTILE dyes made from echinacea extracts, yielding gentle, naturally derived hues. Both of these watches add a touch of cool, nature- minded design that moves with ease from casual settings to work situations. CORDURA is a registered trademark of INVISTA for durable fabrics. FOOD TEXTILE A brand of a fashion industry project focusing on reusing food waste to produce original dyes and providing threads and fabrics colored using these dyes. The project supports a sustainable lifestyle with the concept of “breathing new life into what would otherwise go to waste.” Since natural dyes are used, each product will be unique, and may have uneven coloring.

Large diameter even for a G-Shock, but not too thick. The black and gold model is a great combination of serious and elegant looks. I was looking for a simple watch to replace my Apple watch. Honestly, this fits the bill perfectly. It’s very light, and fits comfortably in my wrist. I don’t have large hands so for someone 5,4 this looks good. I like big size watches. So it may be to someone’s preference. It took me a few minutes to learn the navigation and how to set the right time. I’m not a regularly G-Shock customer. I only own one other G-Shock watch and I couldn’t even tell you what model. It didn’t have a backlight which is why I decided to buy one that had a backlight feature. My original watch is still running, even after a few years in the closet. Wow, the battery life on these watches is impressive. I went with the OSD green instead of the usual black. In a world where things are becoming so reliant on smart watches and phones, I wanted to simplify my experience. Having to constantly charge my Apple Watch was becoming tedious. I hope to use this G-Shock watch for years to come. ... show more

When I saw this watch released, I KNEW I had to have it. From the plethora of Casio features, ease of access, readability, quality and size, this watch is second to none. While being a large watch, its weight is almost negligible. It wears so comfortably on the wrist and just is amazing. All this for a $99 watch just can't be beat. Of note, this IS a negative display meaning that the background is black and the writing is then white / gray on top. This may be somewhat more difficult for certain eyes. If you are a fan of highly legible watches, Casio standards, ruggedness of a G-Shock at a great value, this is the one for you. ... show more

This is my everyday wear. I love this watch more the My g shock 5610! The size is perfect. Bigger than a square, but light as one. I love that it has auto light because I work at night but the button is big and easy to press so I leave auto off don’t need it. But it’s easy to toggle on or off. The color is gorgeous. I have the orange one with the negative face and because of the size of the face it’s a very legible screen. I was eyeing this watch for a while glad I finally pulled the trigger.
