I bought these because the factory Cowl strips were dry rotted. The rubber had cracked and broken off, leaving big unsightly gaps. These clipped into place just like the original ones. The one thing I would caution you on is the clips that come with these did not work so well on my truck. I ended up using the original clips by removing them from the old brackets and clipping them onto this one. With that, everything worked out great. They fit just like the factory ones, and although these are one piece as opposed to two piece, they look just like the originals. ... show more

They are alright, the fitment isn’t perfect and the new clips are a pain to get on then install. But for my ‘13 Silverado they work and look better than the old ones that were rotting away. I would recommend trying to reuse the old clips, in hindsight if I did that I would probably have had better results. ... show more

Used on 2010 Silverado…For the price it’s not terrible. The clips that come with, just throw them away it won’t seat correctly with them . I careful took the clips off the old and used them and it worked fine. My other complaint is the rubber needs a little trimming otherwise the hood will rub and lift on the cover. Overall for not bad works just as well as OEM with slight modifications for half the price ... show more

Iwas sent a part that was said to fit 2010 Tahoe, it "looked" like the part I ordered but was very much too big and would not fit my 2010 Tahoe. Sure, this kind of thing can happen and, when remedied, is kinda okay butttt- now add insult to injury: I was CHARGED $9.40 TO RETURN the useless part that simply was not what I had ordered.
