These swim shorts have lots of stretch and are not see thru, the panties are built in as you can see in the photos. They are comfortable and stylish, and with these I don't have to worry about anything. They come in a few colors, so you should be able to find one to match your tankini or bikini top with no issues. I am plus size and have a hard time finding comfortable swimming shorts that are affordable and fit me good. That changed with these, they are the most comfortable and flattering shorts and I didn’t feel self-conscious going into the pool to swim.

The M seems to fit in a very flattering way. I'm 5'4"/130lbs with a relatively fit figure. The elastic is thin and a bit snug and the crotch gets super stretchy after being in the water. It's a little bizarre. Otherwise, the shorts are pretty comfy. if your waste is greater than 30", get a size larger than the M.

Like many suggested, I sized up. I have a thicker build and I don't really care for the look of encased sausages for legs. The shorts fit great and were not too tight in the legs, they were actually loose all over, but not too loose. The waist band comes up high so even if they fell a little, I don't think they'd slide past my hips. I love the flower pattern on the shorts and the colors. SO cute! I bought a few pairs of different board shorts and wanted to keep only one. Although I am deciding to return these, they were my 2nd choice pick. I like them a lot!

A bit snug, but fits. I bought to wear over a suit while on the boat or on shore. Quality is in question because of the thinness of the material. Nice to have pockets. But, don’t forget to empty them before getting in the water!
