The sandlewood aroma of the aftershave is really nice. The lotion is very watery, something to consider when applying it. I feel it is a good value for the quantity, but it is a small container. But it has lasted me quite a while, since I don't need to use much fir each application.

This stuff is more like aftershave lotion and not a balm. Also, the smell is strong and smells like a female perfume rather than sandalwood. I wanted to return, but this not returnable. Right in the garbage. This is the second GBS product I have purchased and will not purchase their products again.

Doesn't take much, smells good, makes your skin feel good. A little goes a long way. I even used a little in my hair for styling. Worked and smelled good. If you use it in your hair don't use a bunch and mix it in well.
