We had about 6 different small plastic containers at home w/various hardware items in them: nails, screws, hooks, etc, so I decided that we would get 1 item for all of them and bought this container. This item has 34 slots total on both sides. Without reconfiguring the slots, the squares are slightly larger than 2x2 and fits a lot of little pieces. The container is well made with strong plastic; nothing felt like it was going to break or was weakly made. Based on what we had, we divided our pieces by size and type and used almost all of the 34 slots. This item was perfect for what we needed it for and was the lowest price we found. If I need more, I'd buy this again. Keep in mind you can use it for other things like crafting and sewing materials.

Just got my 2 organizers today. I'm using 1 of them for nuts and bolts and the other for electrical. Looks like they will work well for me. The latches latch easily and seem to hold well. I will buy more in the future.

This organizer is sturdy, flexible, holds a lot more than you might expect, and with moderate care, should last for a very long time. I got this with the intention of using it as a project specific organizer for bead crafting. This allows me to move the beads that I am using out of the much larger and heavier boxes, store them in this one and not have to lift and carry 5 to 8 large (and very heavy) boxes to my workstation. This is definitely going to work for that idea, with some caveats. Pros: • This box is sturdy. Not like run it over with your giant tank and it will fine, but definitely will be great for hauling around lots of smaller items, opening and closing a lot, changing up the space layout, all of these things it is going to be perfect for. The plastic it is made of is thick enough to be strong, without being super heavy. It does not feel flimsy anywhere. • I really like that the sections inside have movable section walls, so you can make longer sections if needed or leave all the little walls in and have more compartments of a smaller size. • The latches are sturdy, and this is a big thing that I am concerned about. Latches that break or don't latch securely will make me send something back in a heartbeat. These latches definitely LATCH down. They don't take Herculean efforts to open or close, but effort is required. I like knowing that all my little components are securely enclosed in the box. • The two "tops" that are what open and close are both also sturdy. You can see through the transparent plastic, so you can see what's inside. It's not perfectly clear, but that's not a problem for me. I can see the color and shape of the beads inside and that's the thing I am most concerned about. • All of the hinges feel secure. There is no flexing in them, so I don't feel like I need to worry that the hinges will snap, allowing my things to scatter to the winds like a bag of bouncy balls. However, there are some smaller issues, at least for me, with this storage box. Cons: • The latches have no stoppers other than the shape of the lid. So, the latches are very prone to swinging into the space under the lid when you are trying to close the box. This is an annoyance and I can see it potentially becoming annoying enough (and quickly) that I will need to manufacture a fix. The way the latches are recessed make them a little tricky to grab quickly to prevent them trying to flip under the lid. For right now, this is just an annoyance, not a big enough issue that I wouldn't recommend the container. • Issue two, again, for me, is that the lid does not touch the compartment walls. Which allows anything that is in a compartment to move up onto the walls and lodge against the lid, thereby allowing the items to creep into other compartments over the course of moving the container from one place to another or even just turning it over to get whatever is on the other side. This is particularly frustrating when working with it as I am doing because many of the beads I'm using are just slightly different in color, so it becomes a bit of a hassle to try to keep them separate or separate them from each other after they get mixed up. You can see from my pictures that I've taken to putting other things over the loose beads to try to prevent them from escaping. It's only slightly successful. This is a bigger annoyance as it means that I have to spend a lot of time re-sorting beads, catching the ones that successfully escaped, and trying to come up with options to prevent the beads getting away. • The compartments are relatively deep. This isn’t necessarily a true con for the container. It means you can get a lot of things in each compartment, which is awesome. However, it also means that it can be difficult to get the last items out of a compartment and in some cases, it can be difficult to see if something is left in a compartment. • This one ties in with the previous issue… the divider walls are very easily moved and removed. This one I do think is a bit more of a problem because just trying to get the beads out of a container section ended up with the divider wall getting lifted by accident and beads escaped. This is why there are silicone muffin cups in many of the spaces. They allow me to lift the beads out with less effort and keeps beads corralled if a divider wall does get lifted up. Overall, if you need to be able to store smaller items and have them easily accessible and moveable, I think this is a very good little storage container. It’s sturdy, well made, well put together, flexible so you can store many items of various sizes, it’s double-sided and holds a lot of stuff, all while not taking up a huge amount of room in your shelves or cabinets or wherever you store it. The items inside are easily identified without opening the container and are easily accessible when you do open the container. The issues I’ve run into are mostly minor and can be worked around without too much trouble. The only big concerns I have are the fact that the interior sections are not securely closed off from each other, which can allow potential mixing of stored objects, and the divider walls are VERY easy to remove, intentionally or not, again allowing potential mixing of stored objects.

I’ve been using this double-sided small parts organizer for about a few days now, mainly to store screws, nuts, wall anchors, and some small electrical connectors in my garage. Overall, it's a solid, well thought-out storage solution. The build quality is better than expected for the price thick plastic with a rigid structure that doesn’t flex under load. The transparent lids are a big help when quickly scanning for parts, and the removable dividers make it easy to customize the compartments for different sizes of hardware. I particularly like the double sided design; it really helps maximize space without taking up too much room on my workbench. The latches snap tightly and haven't popped open during transport, which was a concern I had at first. The handle is comfortable enough, though I wouldn’t carry it around all day. One thing to note: the dividers can shift slightly if the box is tossed around or stored vertically, so if you're carrying very tiny items (like beads or very small screws), they may mix a bit unless you pack them tightly. Also, the compartments aren’t sealed, so it’s not waterproof or dustproof. That said, for organizing small tools and parts at home or in a shop, it does the job very well. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, functional organizer—just be mindful of how you store very fine items.
