I love this face cream after my shave. It's really soothing after an elec. OR manual razor shave. The only thing I didn't like was that they changed the size and shape of the bottle. The old style taller, skinnier, aluminium bottles were much more attractive, fit better in your hand and easier to store. Oh well, I have not found anything better to use on my face. The aftershave effect is soothing and the texture is fine, but I took one star away due to the greasiness (which hung around for most of the day). The bigger issue I had, and the reason for the removal of a second star, is the smell! I have used various Sandelwood products, so I understand that the aroma can vary by manufacturer, but this was extremely strong (not in a good way), and the scent was more on the feminine side and borderline obnoxious, especially in close quarters like on a subway. I don't feel like I can use this on important occasions, such as work or date nights. I will probably just keep it as a backup for when I run out of my primary aftershave and can't make it to the store. This only applies to their aftershave, as I have some of their other products and LOVE them. ... show more

My go to aftershave balm. I recommendation for best shave is to put this product on at night. Then shave in the morning and reapply post shave.

Smells unnatural. Arrived with a broken bottle the first time, with liquid all over the packaging. Replacement has a quirky pump. The product that comes out is runny liquid, not a balm. I'm a wet shave purist. No plans of seeing the bottom of this bottle.
