I would have given the product 5 stars because of its amazing performance but I don’t like the smell. It says it is supposed to be sandalwood but the only thing I smell is shea butter and cocoa butter. There is no hint of sandalwood. If it wasn’t for the smell of shea butter I’d buy it again.

The aftershave effect is soothing and the texture is fine, but I took one star away due to the greasiness (which hung around for most of the day). The bigger issue I had, and the reason for the removal of a second star, is the smell! I have used various Sandelwood products, so I understand that the aroma can vary by manufacturer, but this was extremely strong (not in a good way), and the scent was more on the feminine side and borderline obnoxious, especially in close quarters like on a subway. I don't feel like I can use this on important occasions, such as work or date nights. I will probably just keep it as a backup for when I run out of my primary aftershave and can't make it to the store. This only applies to their aftershave, as I have some of their other products and LOVE them. ... show more

Sorry Rocky Mountain Barber Company. Total failure. Not only did 1/4 of the creme leak out during shipping because the top was loose on the bottle, but when I tried to use after shaving this morning, the pump required great effort just to get a few drops out. Could be a great product, but too much disappointment in getting to it. Amazon will replace if I drive three towns away to return it. Not worth the time/cost/effort. Instead will chock up the cost as a learning experience. The aroma is nice - my wife likes it as well - but as said, it is too difficult to use. Anyone considering this would be wise to keep my experience in mind. Again, sorry Rocky Mountain Barber Shop. Nice try, but failed. ... show more
