    • Very effective, but horrible roller ball!
This is the FIRST PRODUCT EVER that has actually treated and gotten rid of my ingrown hairs. But what is with the NON WORKING ROLLER BALL? I have to press super hard to get it to come out. There are a lot of complaints about this, why don’t they fix it??? I’m going to put the product into a small glass essential oil roller ball applicator that I already own that’s empty and try dispensing it that way. I use this stuff RELIGIOUSLY. Let me preface that with this: YES, it stinks. YES, it burns (if you use it immediately after hair removal). If you can't handle that, then don't buy it. BUT! If you can handle that...this is WONDERFUL! I have had ingrown hairs and razor burn all my life. No matter what I do, I get it. I even got waxed and my sensitive skin was red for days! But let me tell you, discovering Tend Skin all those years ago has helped me tremendously. Not only does it help gt rid of razor burn, but it prevents ingrown hairs and kills any bacteria! Now, the roller ball doesn't always leave an even layer f the solution on my skin, but it's just as easy for me to go back over whatever I missed. I honestly could rave about this stuff all day long. Now if you aren't sure, I would suggest maybe finding a store to buy it at in case you don't like it. I've seen a few people mention that you can't return this to Amazon because it is highly flammable. I wouldn't know because I've never tried to return it, but if you are on the fence, find a Target and go buy it there. One last note I want to make is that this is also great because you can buy the large bottle of solution and refill the roller ball. This also makes it really great for travelling! Whenever I go on vacation I take it with me so I don't get any unexpected bikini bumps. Just remember that the roller ball container can leak so be sure to keep the lid it comes with (NOT the lid over the roller ball, the little one for the bottle that holds the solution-just don't throw it away when you get it).     • The Roll-On Solution Gets Dirty Overtime
I love this product, it does wonders. However, I do not recommend the roll-on version, due to the solution getting dirty and dark over time. I highly recommend the non roll-on version.

I use an epilator regularly on my legs and wax/tweeze my underarms and bikini area. Even thorough, regular exfoliation wasn't preventing ingrown hairs (which I'd pick at and they'd turn into ugly red spots - not pretty!) I've always had lots of bumps on the backs of my thighs as well, which I assume are some form of ingrown hairs too. After years of dealing with this, I finally came on Amazon to look for some help. I read reviews for several different products. This one was a good price with good reviews, so I gave it a try. SOOOO glad I did! So far it's been about 2-3 weeks of regular use (I put it on 1-2 times a day - morning and night, if I have time) and there is a HUGE improvement already. After just a few days my skin was much softer and smoother (and it was already pretty soft and smooth because of all the exfoliation I was doing), and the red spots diminished. I'm still getting some ingrown hairs, but have been able to "free" most of them without causing a wound (which means very few new red spots or scabs). Not sure yet how long this bottle will last, but it's still more than half full. The roller ball doesn't work great (it sticks), but I don't mind. I just hold the bottle with one hand and roll it all over my legs and underarms and use the other hand to rub the product in. The smell isn't great, but it doesn't seem to linger much after it dries. It DOES sting if you use it too soon after pulling out hairs, but I just wait and apply the next day to avoid this. ... show more
