To be honest, we almost passed on this one... We’ve seen too many small-space desks that look great online but show up feeling wobbly, fake, and all style, no substance. But this one surprised us — in the best way. We were resetting a corner of our tiny home for a more minimal, focused workflow. Something compact, functional, and sturdy enough to feel like it belonged. This desk checked all those boxes. Assembly was fast and painless. No missing hardware. No crumbly panels. No extra tools needed. Once built, it felt solid — not heirloom-level, but absolutely sturdy enough for everyday use. And in a home where every item earns its spot, that’s what matters. The narrow design is worth noting. If you’ve got a deep monitor or dual-screen setup, you might feel the squeeze. But in our little corner, it actually made the space feel more open and intentional. There are two riser shelves — we’re only using one for the monitor. The second is a thoughtful touch: extra storage without visual clutter. Now, the fabric drawers? They look great and blend well, but we’re keeping an eye on long-term durability. We may reinforce them later, but for now, they’re doing their job — and they weren’t enough to knock a star off. My teenager and I built this in about an hour and it’s a nice desk he will use for gaming and homework. The drawers honestly look like the “wood finish” but they are actually wood-colored canvas. I’m very impressed for the price. I would highly recommend this desk for someone who needs the space without the big cost. I bought rubber bumpers for the bottom of the little shelves that sit on top, because the metal legs slide on the desktop and we would never put an expensive monitor on top of those, and take the risk of them moving. Solid build, easy build, excellent price, perfect desk for just about anything a teenager or college student or young adult would need. I’m 50 and would still use this desk. Pretty good. I’ve bought two of these, roughly 9 months apart. Both are good quality, easy to assemble and fairly sturdy. Rustic brown from 9 months ago and rustic brown today, are two different browns. The desktop wood was also different on the second purchase. Purchase number 1 had a two piece wood top, which was heavy and big. Purchase number 2 had two bigger tops, and two smaller tops to create a less clean desk top for the same length and width. I'd buy this again. In fact I'll likely do it. It's well worth the money and something IKEA or other companies would carry for $250 plus. It's such a cool desk. Don' let the cheap price fool you. Took about an hour and a half to put together. Instructions were pretty easy to understand, holes lined up well. Tools included. Only takes one person along with a free hour or two. Only things of note: • The drawers themselves aren't made of wood. It's some sort of thick board inside canvas fabric and stitching. The wood front of both drawers are printed on patterns. • This is the one inconvenience... the larger, bottom drawer comes with hardware to turn it into a drawer that holds file folders. But it's too small for standard folders to hold letter size paper in the conventional fashion. I'd say a quarter of an inch too small. It comes with simple racks so you can turn your folders 180 degrees and fit legal or larger size paper. You'll have to do that for your letter size documents. Folders aren't included. Only issue here is it'll fit less documents than it should due to the shortened space. I bought the version that came with 2 shelves. Those are awesome too. I recommend 100%. ... show more

Really impressed with quality. Instructions amazingly doable. Took 3 hours for 2 of us. Loved the parts in separate labeled packages. Only suggestion is the labels much easier to read if ink a little darker. Looks very nice, not cheap at all.

However, I got refunded and the second order arrived on time, packaged very well, had good instructions, all of the drill holes lined up perfectly, there were spare parts just in case.
