Update: Originally I gave these 2 stars because they are extremely cute and easy to put together, but they were very difficult to put up...this was one of the worst design installations ever! I quit after 45m of trying to put them up. I measured the space correctly, but the issue was the sconce would not rest seamlessly on both screw heads, therefore you couldn't tighten the screw to allow the sconce to lay flat on the wall....so disappointing. Ordered a replacement based on other reviews & realized that the flaw was due to rushing at the manufacturers. With replacements in hand & properly manufactured, the process was quick and seamless, I absolutely love these. I rated it a 4, because of the initial issues & having to get a replacement.

DO LIKE HOW THEY LOOK IN WALL BESIDE 1900 PICTURE OF THE FARM... BUT HOLES WERE NOT ALIGNED ON BACK ( SCREW HOLES COVERED WITH METAL PLATE ) SO IF YOU DID NOT FIX THAT WOULD NOT HANG STRAIGHT.. THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING TO HAVE TO ADJUST AND CHANGE BEFORE HANGING.. BUT ONCE UP LOOK NICE.. These just arrived today and I was excited to get them together and up on the wall. To my surprise, one was cut crooked, so the shelf is crooked. The other one is not crooked, but the shelf is leaning downward. And yes, they were put together correctly. Only one way they will go. They are cute, but should have never passed an inspection to sell. You plainly can see it on the wall, that the shelf is crooked. Hard to tell in the pictures I took. The last picture is the one bent downward. The first two pictures are of the crooked one. Very disappointed.

Soft, lightweight wood, somewhat roughly and thinly painted, with minor dents and inconsistencies of finish. But overall a clean look, striking a nice balance between modern and rustic. The predrilled screw holes in the two horizontal pieces of each sconce are inexactly placed, so when assembled you might find that a piece isn't centered, cheapening the look. Mounting is via two inset keyhole mounts on each sconce, making it very fussy to mount them level with the floor and with each other—especially without a mounting template. I resorted to stringing mounting wire between each keyhole so that I could mount each sconce with a single screw. Then I placed a bit of mounting putty between the bottom of each sconce and the wall to keep it from drifting off level. Works well enough.
