This a beautiful shelf that is very sturdy. It was very easy to assemble. We are using it to hold a 50 gallon aquarium that holds Meatball, our hamster. It has large shelves that can hold a lot. I would definitely recommend.

I have to admit I bought this based on the looks and overall fact that it matched what I was looking for, but I didn't study it enough to realize just how structurally weak the design is. If you follow the structural pieces, you'll see that all the weight of the top (and TV) has to carry down to the outer legs. The legs in the middle don't support anything but the lower shelf. The middle shelf kinda hangs from the top. Now, this is not a big deal if your TV has legs out on the ends and the weight is distributed nicely down to the corners of the shelf. Unfortunately, my TV has a center stand and all the weight sits right in the middle of the unit.. exactly where you don't want it to be. The result... it sags noticeably. By the time I got it all put together and found this out, I didn't have the desire to tear it all apart again and try to get it back in the box to return, so for now I have kept it. Living with it day to day it's alright, but in hindsight I would have chosen something else. Besides, maybe I'll end up upgrading my TV in the not too distant future? Other reviewers have noted that the mesh shelves are kind of weak and sag without much weight on them. This is true, but I've not got much down there so not a big deal for me. Bottom line... only buy this if your TV has legs at the outer ends, not a central stand. ... show more

I'm afraid this is a bad design. I put wood glue in others I can't get it in on underneath now that it's put together. Just poorly designed connection.

Very nice TV stand! Assembly instructions were clear, and all parts were well labeled. Pretty much the only tool need was an Allen wrench, which was included. Fits my new 65 inch TV perfectly.
