Keep in mind that these are not intended to be the most durable. When assembled properly, they are sturdy and light. Considering all my wife and I wanted was a nightstand by our bed for a few items which we like to have near us (water, lamp, etc.), we were surprised by how sturdy and visually appealing they are. 2 complaints, the top was scratched when unpacked, but since I'm using it as a print stand not too much of a problem. THe drawers are fabric would have preferred solid wood onstead but they seem to work ok.

Off-gassing a problem. This was just right for the space, small, cute, easy to assemble. It is, however, off-gassing. It is in the living room of our old drafty summer cabin on the lake, but I would not put it in a bedroom. I gave it 4 stars, but would not buy again because of the off-gassing issue.
