I wouldn’t say it was difficult to put together-if you organize the parts on a padded surface as they suggest, it goes together well following the directions. Holes were not in the right places, and I had to modify. Parts and hardware were either mislabeled or not labeled at all. After some frustration, they are pretty enough, even though they came Slightly damaged. Color is a little darker than expected.

This crate was super easy to put together, and it is a really nice quality. I purchased a different crate before this one, and it was clearly cheaply made and arrived with damaged pieces. This crate however, is quite nice. I really wanted one that looked more like furniture. It came with a crate pad too, but it is little firm, so I replaced it with what is seen in the picture. It took about an hour to put together between me and my mom, but someone who is handy may can do it in less time. They even sent a few extra screws just in case, which I thought was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Right off the bat, I noticed the latches sent weren't right: they didn't align with pre-drilled holes and weren't black like the ones shown. I will have to replace them with store-bought black ones. Pain in the butt.

I purchased 2 of these, they look nice and are sturdy. First one went together fairly easy, 2nd one did not. We had to remove the double front doors from the hinges and flip them over and reattach them to the hinges on the other side because the panel with the double doors was assembled upside down, holes and hardware did not match up for the top and bottom to assemble correctly. Time consuming but fixable, just took a bit to figure out why it wasn't lining up and didn't want to ruin the look or function to drill it out to fit
