We got this product forever ago. Finally installed today. Its a great product, as far as how it works. However, the instructions weren't great. In fact, they were wrong! In order to install the wall anchors, the drill bit size on the very minimal instruction manual is INCORRECT. (They give you one tiny page.) The manual says a 6mm drill bit, unfortunately its more accurately a 6.4-6.5mm drill bit that is needed. (We ended up using many more wall anchors than we should have had to, due to them crunching on us because of this.) Also, we used this product on a taller dresser and my husband and I did this together. As his man arms wouldn't fit in the space needed to pin everything together. Lol (The length of the cord to attach everything.) All worked out great, but thought I'd leave a mention, just in case anyone else needs to know. Overall, though, I am not dissatisfied in the actual product at all. Just the manual provided is "eh".

Great for holding tall bookshelves etc in place. I know nothing about anything related to home repair etc. I bought these not knowing if they were what we needed for the tall bookcase we had must gotten. My handyman asked me to order more for anything tall I got for our new apartment.

Had to Anchor a cabinet to the wall so it doesn't wobble or fall over it was perfect anchoring it to the studs and then to the top of the cabinet

I used longer screws to bolt into the wall, but overall worked fine. Have to be fairly close to the wall due to cable length limitations. Just needs to be strong enough to prevent something from completely rocking over due to an earthquake. I cannot speak for child proof ability.

I find it easier to just run a screw the the back of furniture into a stud in most scenarios. Occasionally these would be the perfect support and they are very sturdy. Can’t get the furniture close to the wall with these things

These anchors are so easy to install to keep furniture from tipping over. For a dresser or furniture piece with a back, I just screw in the bracket to the back and another one on the wall. Thread the heavy duty strap and adjust to the length needed. I like that they can be detached without cutting the straps so they can be reused. These are also great for open back bookshelves, the strap is long enough to wrap around the bookshelf leg and into the wall mounted bracket. The anchors are a must if you have toddlers or pets but they are also perfect for any furniture piece that is sitting on sloped or uneven floors to keep it from tipping forward. I am pleased with the quality, construction and ease of installing these furniture anchors.
