I saw some complaints about how liquidy it is. It is liquidy, but that’s how it’s designed. I got much better results with an old rag than with a sponge brush. Started with the antique pine, and it was too red. The walnut is beautiful. I plan to spray it with epoxy to seal it. Used on a high quality piece of plywood to put on top of a dog crate. They sell fancy dog crate covers online, and I made one that looks just as nice for under 30 bucks. ... show more

This stain is great and I love the way it’s bottled. I don’t use it often enough to have a larger size or buy it in a can. This is easy to store and the colors are just as described.
