No youngsters in the house but we have some taller shelving units that wobbled a bit in the garage. Newly built house but we're using shelving from the our other house instead of buying new. These anchors are great for stabilizing the shelves. As another review noted, the cables can be a bit short, depending what you are trying to anchor. So either you can hook as many as you need together, the get additional cables, or in a pinch when it's late at night and you're getting tired, use some of the heavy duty extra long zip ties.
