The tool is specially designed to reach through the topcoat to remove loose undercoat hair and undercoat without damaging the topcoat or cutting the skin (when used as directed). The ergonomic handle makes grooming easy, and the FURejector® button releases hair with ease. The Curved Edge conforms to your pet’s natural build and shape for comfort. Use weekly on dogs with double coats. This tool is for large dogs with long hair. Brushing and combing are not the same as undercoat deShedding. FURminator Undercoat deShedding Tool removes significantly more loose hair than a standard comb. Undercoat deShedding removes most loose hair before your pet has a chance to shed it on the surfaces of your home! Use FURminator pet products for professional- quality, at-home grooming results as part of the FURminator Ultimate Hair Reduction System™: Brush daily to detangle and smooth fur; deShed weekly to reduce shed hair; bathe monthly to clean and deodorize; and collect and discard loose hair as needed. A Decade-Long Wait Justified by the Remarkable Efficacy of Furminator Products Overall
Style: long hair - new model
Size: Large
In retrospect, my decision to acquire this product after a decade of contemplation appears both judicious and long overdue. Initially deterred by what I perceived as a steep price point of $75 upon its initial release, circumstances have evolved, leading to a reassessment of its value, which we paid $28.98. With the addition of three feline companions and the unforeseen acquisition of a dog, previously regarded as an inheritance, our household dynamics prompted a reconsideration of this investment. The catalyst for our purchase was our newfound reliance on the TSC Dog Bathing Station at our Tractor Supply Store, where the convenience of a $10 dog bath, devoid of the complications associated with home bathing, became increasingly apparent. The avoidance of bathroom-related chaos and the elimination of persistent cleaning endeavors {cleaning afterward -including the ceiling when they shake off water and through out the house as they dry- because they provide towels for drying your pet and they have a dryer there} and the circumvention of the need for multiple towel washes to eradicate dog-related odors all contributed to the tangible value of this innovative product which they provide for customers to use for free and see how valuable the Furminator is. In light of our experiences, I unequivocally endorse this product, recognizing its remarkable efficacy in enhancing the well-being of our pets. The transformative impact on their disposition became palpable as the product effortlessly addressed the accumulation of dead, soiled, and burdensome fur. Witnessing the discernible improvement in our pets' happiness serves as a testament to the undeniable benefits conferred by this exceptional product. DO NOT FORGET TO BUY THE FURminator NAIL CLIPPERS TOO!! "Indispensable FURminator Nail Clippers" In addition to the stellar performance of the FURminator Deshedding tool, a noteworthy addition to our pet care arsenal is the FURminator toe nail clippers. Having expended over $200 across sixteen years in pursuit of an effective solution for nail trimming, our search culminated in the unparalleled efficacy of the FURminator pair—a sentiment equally applicable to both canine and feline companions. The decision to explore the FURminator nail clippers was serendipitous, motivated by a moment of curiosity during the acquisition of the FURminator for fur maintenance. Priced at a modest $8.95 on Amazon, my initial skepticism was swiftly dispelled upon utilization. This impromptu investment emerged as the epitome of judicious decision-making, surpassing the performance of previous acquisitions with unparalleled precision and efficiency. Conclusively, the inclusion of the FURminator nail clippers has fortified our pet care routine, complementing the transformative effects. This inadvertent discovery serves as a testament to the brand's commitment to quality and reinforces our unwavering endorsement of FURminator products for comprehensive and superior pet grooming.

Works great on thick/long fur.
Style: long hair - new model
Size: Large
This brush/comb is fantastic. I have a sheep-a-doodle with long and extremely thick fur. I was a little reluctant to order and use it. I was very surprised at how well it went through his fur. We removed so much loose fur that we could make another dog. He had no problem with us using it on him and actually began to enjoy it. Fantastic animal tool. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Its Worth the price
Style: long hair - new model
Size: Large
Works great, fairly large, easy to use, my dog likes it and doesnt pull on her hair to cause her pain like I have experienced with other products for her undercoat. Worth the money because it saves time and works great and id rather have a product that saves me time and works better for double the price and will last forever. Some things its worth going cheap but honestly I didnt regret buying this once I used it and im one of the most frugal people you will ever meet except when it comes to food

Works for long and curly hair! Fussy dogs too❤️
Style: long hair - new model
Size: Medium
I have two Border Collies that shed like crazy. I have to vacuum or swiffer every two days and I get enough hair to make a puppy. One of my Border Collies hates being brushed and flinches every time we touch her with any brush. I was weary about buying another brush to try. So it was a beautiful day out on the deck and I thought, here we go. The touchy border collie first, and she sat there like she was getting a massage. I have never been able to brush her as long as I did this time. Boy did I get a lot of hair off. Now for the second border collie, which is a curly hair, rare coat. She is a mush and loves to be brushed. With this brush, she would not let me stop. She wanted to be brushed everywhere. She fell asleep while I was brushing her. This brush is amazing and I am going to order a backup. If you have a long-haired collie, this brush will work for you if you follow the instructions.

Works awesome, very $
Style: long hair - new model
Size: Medium
I've included a photo of my beautiful Border-Aussie whose fur looks even nicer after using this brush. Photo post brushing. It was much more gentle on her skin than my previous deshedding comb and it took massive amounts of loose hair off. The little thing you push to push the hair off the comb is kind of silly and useless for me. It sort of works, and it might work on the short stiff hair of a Husky, but my dog's hair is fine and just clings to it. Really, No big deal, idc. The comb gets all the hair off, it's great - the best comb I've ever used. I highly recommend this comb, however, I paid just under $35 for it and that's just crazy. Pet stores charge the same, I looked, but I have Amazon Prime so it was most cost efficient to order it from here. The thing works awesome, made well, and the handle ergonomically superior imho. That said, I think the manufacturers have taken a little advantage of the superiority of their product and probably could come down in price. They should, because they'd sell more. If it weren't for the cost I'd give this 5 stars.

Works really well, easy to use
Style: long hair - new model
Size: Large
I was skeptical that this would work, let alone be worth the cost. However, it works really well. I've always used those bent metal brushes on golden retrievers that seem to shed multiple dogs worth of hair. Those old ones load up, and struggle to get deep. This brush worked really well, and seemed to basically self shed clumps from the brush automatically. I'd occasionally need to use the button to push the hair off, and that also worked really well. It's made removing hair quick and less frustrating. For what it's worth, I recommend it.

Super undercoat dog fur remover that is sized for dog size!
Style: long hair - new model
Size: Small
My adorable mix breed dog, that I rescued by the side of the road, is one of the worst shedding dogs that I ever owned! And I use to have St. Bernards. So I took my dog to a great, new vet at Useless Bay Veterinary on Whidbey Island in WA state. The vet used this product to check her for fleas or mites and her undergrowth fur came out, like cutting warm butter. She didn't even jerk or feel the vet brushing her. Super to use. Has a push down "button" that clears away the fur. She is not shedding fur now! Great product. And she is not scratched like the saw blade instrument I usually used. Her haunches are super fluffy and long furred that gets knotted up and matted. I still had to cut the mats apart to get this tool to do it's designed job. This gets the loose fur off the skin and is a great size to match her diminutive size. So I looked at the vets supply, for sale. The small size was sold out, so I tried to find it for sale on Amazon. Super happy to have found it!!! She is too. Wonderful product and worth it to make a great review. If you have medium or large dogs get the size that's comparable in this product. You won't be disappointed. Took a little time to get it, but so happy to learn about this undercoat removal tool for my dear dog, especially as using it does not scratch her or hurt her. So, so easy to clean, with each stroke of the tool. Light to hold over lol ng grooming time. If you are a doer and manage your dogs grooming, this tool is PERFECT! The sizes are done by the pound weight of your dog! Performance is spot on.
