I just bought a tv for my bedroom so I didnt already have a tv stand. I went with this stand because it has room for a gaming system, my echo dot and much more and for the price it is perfect for someone not looking to spend a lot of money on furniture. It was relatively easy to assemble and directions where straight forward. Keep an eye on where you put the seems that are around each shelf. They arent super ugly but they are easy to hide so might as well build it with that in mind. The wood shelves have some small dings and minor scratches however nothing to complain about but just dont be surprised that it isnt flawless. Im using it to hold my 32inch Tv and I have no reservations on adding devices, books and other things to it. It looks more expensive than it is (ive actually seen people trying to sell these on FB marketplace for more than new), its sturdy, and easy to assemble and move. Couldnt ask for anything more. PS: I misread the parts list and thought I was missing pieces. I contacted them at around 12/1am central time via email and they responded within minutes and sent the missing pieces right away. Great speed and customer service, good to know that if I had actually had an issue that it would have been taken care of promptly and professionally. Easy enough to assemble. Ok quality for the low price. Decent design / configuration of shelves. Where this product simply fails is health / safety / indoor environment comfort. The wood used for the shelves off-gasses - seemingly forever. You just can't imagine how much of a noticeable odor can be generated. You can almost become accustomed to the smell, and you kind of tune it out while you're in the room with the unit, until you leave your house for the day and then come back into it after the shelves spending the day leaking their aroma into your room's airspace. They really should either fully seal / envelope the wood (the undersides aren't coated), or they should use a different kind of wood / particle board. I have so much other furniture that doesn't exhibit this intense of an off-gassing issue. I don't believe this is healthy to breathe. It may not kill you or give you an immediate headache or asthma, but I imagine there would be long term consequences to the health of your lungs to be breathing this stuff in hours of every day over years. **Update- today is Aug 12, 2019 and it's still holding up! I am actually giving it away tomorrow and I expect it will work just as well. Wanted to post an update so everyone will know this is priced low but its held up for a few years with no problems. Wow I really didn't expect a whole lot at the price BUT,,, It was easy to put together took about 15 mins and looks pretty good. I placed a 50" TV on it and I have no doubt it will hold it without any problems. Very easy to put together and very stable. ... show more

I really wanted this to work for our loft. There’s isn’t much space between the windows and the electric floor heaters so I’m pretty limited to a small-ish unit like this one. Also, being in the loft, the roof is very low above the tv- I’m 5ft 5in and bump my head often if I forget to duck. Plus, I wanted something inexpensive and simple since my kids play up there. Something I wouldn’t care if got scratched up. I gave it 3 stars because it fit all those needs except the big downside: it’s pretty wobbly with our 32” tv. It says put heavier items on bottom shelf (duh) but the tv is the heaviest item and for what we are using it for, the other items just aren’t heavy enough to stabilize it on our low carpet. If the unit was deeper, it would help but It isn’t deep enough for my needs. I’m nervous the kids will prop their feet on the front (easily forgotten not to) or someone might lean on it and tip it. It would take a bunch of pressure to tip it but our carpet is not very tall at all and it’d be easy enough for young kids to do. It just isn’t as sturdy as I had hoped for my needs. I’ll be anchoring it, if not moving it away to use it for something else. Also, the side shelves aren’t as big as I hoped and won’t fit my fan on, which is something I wasn’t hoping to get off the floor with this piece. It can’t occilate without bumping the tv. It fits on the shelf if the tv wasn’t there. Building it was easy once I realized I mixed up the middle piece for the top piece. I thought the holes were too small to fit the caps (step 1) then realized I had the wrong piece and after that, I was done in under 10 minutes. The poles are plastic but seem strong enough to hold the listed weight limits. (I believe it was 40 pounds on the top shelf and 15 on all the other 5). Colors matched online pic and quality (pressed wood/no scratches) are what I expected for the price. Just please be careful if you have young kids. Keep an eye on it and / or anchor it, even on short carpets/rugs. I can’t speak for wood/hard floors. ... show more

Great price, assembles with no tools in about 3 minutes, and easily holds a 40" TV. For the price, the plastic and press board are to be expected, but it doesn't feel flimsy or unstable.

I was looking for a reasonably priced tv stand while still trying not to spend too much. I came across this and liked how it wasn't too expensive. It had multiple open shelves which I liked because it is easier to tie the cords back. It arrived quickly which made me happy. Putting it together was a breeze; all you really need is a rubber mallet. As for appearance, it has a nice simple, modern look to it which makes fit in with pretty much any environment. The material isn't solid wood but I was aware ahead of time that it wouldn't be. Actually, the material at least makes this stand easier to move around. I do recommend this item for anyone looking to simply add a little flare to their home or someone, such as myself, who is on a budget yet needs a good tv stand. However, if you have small children or rambunctious pets running around, I wouldn't recommend this because most likely, this stand will get severely scratched. This is not an item for high traffic volume in other words. My place is quiet, so this stand is a good fit for me. ... show more
