I originally purchased this shelf in 2016 for use on a table I used as a desk. It would have been too high with both sets of long poles, so I left one out and it was perfect. I didn't realize that the gap under the bottom shelf would also be useful as a place to stash files and other short things, what a bonus! Fast forward to 2023 and my shelf is now adding much needed space in my small kitchen. I downsized from a 4 bedroom/2 bath house to a 1 bedroom apartment and storage in the kitchen is very limited, not only due to its size, but also to my physical abilities (70 y/o now). I am ordering another of these and 2 of the shorter, square units. By switching out the shorter posts, I will be able to use these on my counter and they still fit under the cabinets. This gives me so much more room to have my small appliances, canisters, baking supplies, etc. right where I need them. This time I'm going to keep the extra parts because they may come in handy somewhere else in my apartment, like bathroom, closet, hall, whatever. Furinno really did a good job on these from design through production and the low cost makes them available to more people financially and with little carpentry abilities. I was looking for shelves to put into a "planned" bathroom closet. The shower in the bath just off the kitchen stopped working and I decided to remodel it into a pantry/storage closet - paper products, bags etc. timing is months out, but i really wanted it organized now rather than dumping stuff into it. So I started looking at shelves for use now. I needed shelves with feet that would fit/stand on a shower stall flor, and the shower had molded, soap holder and a decorative "bump" in it. This shelf with 23x11 shelves, measured as "fitable" so i got it. I have also ordered a 4 shelf model so i can have deeper shelves. I assembled it last night while watching TV and moved it into the shower stall this morning. It fits beautifully and holds what i need it to hold! The second shelf will be perfect with it. I am pleased enough to think that the "remodle" job with be just taking out the the shower stall, and fix the wall - no paying to build in shelves, just continue using these. My only issue is the comment: "There are no screws involved,. . . Just turn the tube to connect the panels to form a storage shelf" Turn the tube!!! It was a major effort for my hands that do not the strongest grip. Every leg was an effort and my hands were hurting by the end of assembly. I am not looking forward to assembling the 4 shelf because I had to get it with round tubes - not realizing there would be an issue. ... show more

This shelf is so great, for its price point, that I just had to rave. If you're looking for a sturdy, attractive shelf that will fit into a nook or small space, buy this now. Not only is it super easy to assemble (no tools), but there are 3 tiers of ample space for stashing your stuff. Though the legs are a plastic variant, the shelves are woodsy, so they feel and look like a nice place for your items. No egg carton feet happening here, :). Lastly, the measurements are correct. I spent an hour assembling another shelf from another company last weekend, only to discover, at the very end of the process, that its huge mushroom-top screws that went into its outside, made it a fraction of an inch too wide to fit into the spot I have. I had to disassemble everything and send that one back, so frustrating. In part, it's why I love this shelf SO much. I put it together in under 5 minutes and it fits perfectly and looks really good. ... show more

I went ahead and gave 5 stars because it is exactly what I was needing, seems sturdy, and the wood pieces are wider than I expected which is awesome, easy to put together and I love the color!! I have one like this one from another company in beech color and wanted one for my laundry room and was expecting pretty much the same structure but I paid a few dollars more for the other and shelves are not near as wide so I was very happy when I opened the box and seen the wood slabs was much wider than the other I have..Definitely recommend and will buy from this company again ... show more

I'm not going to beat around the bush here, this is a cheap piece of furniture and at its price point you are going to get everything you pay for. The one point on price I would offer is that if you think you are somehow pressed to buy it now while it's on sale, I have visited this product's page on multiple occasions across three or so months and it is ALWAYS on sale, so don't feel rushed. Whether you feel that is predatory to consumers is up to you, I don't care as at the sale price it is a fair price. This is a cheaply constructed plastic and press board piece of furniture that is not going to win any beauty contests ever, but holds together very well and maintains stability with probably close to fifty pounds of tools and hardware on it in my room. It is compact, fits in most places, and is relatively easy if cumbersome to move. My only complaint is that assembly is somewhat exhausting because screwing in about two dozen plastic support poles to get this thing together is exhausting with the amount of friction is there and it requires a lot of force, and if you don't thread them all the way some can be crooked and look weird. Other than that it's a shelf and it's for people like me who aren't getting a shelf to make a statement. Do with that what you will. ... show more
