The main material- medium density composite wood is made from recycled materials of rubber trees. All the materials are manufactured in Malaysia and comply with the Green rules of production. There is no foul smell, durable and the material is the most stable amongst the medium density composite woods. A simple attitude towards lifestyle is reflected directly on the design of Furinno furniture, creating a trend of simply nature. All the products are produced and packed 100-percent in Malaysia with 90% - 95% recycled materials. Care instructions: wipe clean with clean damped cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals. I purchased this TV stand for a 60" rear projection Mitsubishi TV. This clearly pushes the limits that this stand was designed for, but I did confirm that my TV (about 100 lbs) was less than the advertised 120lb rating. There were a few blemishes in the finish, but none too noticeable, and certainly not enough to outweigh the excellent price. Assembly was fairly simple and took me about 45 minutes to do by myself. An extra pair of hands could have easily made it a 20-30 minute task. After getting some assistance setting the TV on top of the stand, I felt confident that it was going to hold the weight well. The edges of the TV obviously over-hang the edges of the stand. The base of this particular TV was narrower (side to side) than the stand and slightly deeper front to back. So the part of the TV designed to hold the TV does overhang the back of the stand by about an inch. I might be concerned if it were set somewhere it could get bumped regularly. But nestled between a desk and a wall in the corner of a bedroom, it is holding up quite well. It was a bit of an exercise with flashlights and mirrors to get the cables all hooked to the TV, but the stand did nothing to impair that effort. There's conveniently plenty of room for an XBox an XBox360 and a good number of games and controllers on the lower shelves. The center shelf is adjustable, though standard game boxes will not fit (above or below) standing straight up no matter how the shelves are adjusted. So they sit at an angle without too much trouble. All in all, at the price I paid (Thirty-Seven Prime) it was a great deal. Too bad it's no longer available or I would buy another for the Magnepan center channel in my living room. ... show more

This table was purchased to serve as a TV stand foe 39". Assembly was not hard, but pieces were not aligned to predrilled holes. The table is not very sturdy.

    • One big flaw but still good

The only real bad thing I have to say is that there is a center divide that locks into the top and you have to screw w/ wood screws on the bottom. The problem is that you are blind screwing into the center board's top and it is thin, too thin, so even if you line it up right the screw still can go off to the side and break up/splinter/crack the center board, maybe even flat out snap it so there is a broken board in the middle of the stand. Otherwise I bought this as a shoe stand and it works very well, 8 pairs of shoes and the top can be used. It is thin and not sturdy so I imagine any heavy Tv could make is warp, also it is 13" tall so that is one low Tv. As a stand I would say look for something sturdier for putting light things on and in, it is fine. I also think it is cheap enough to stack on a taller thing to boost height say 18 or so inches, you can find cheap things that tall to prop under it. ... show more

This was smaller than I thought but, you pay for what you get. Overall nice stand for the children's room or, a corner with decor. If your bed high the stand sit to low.

We were a little skeptical after reading some reviews about building the stand. Let me tell you my daughter put it together in about 40 minutes. By herself! Very easy. Great looking! Only con: its not a dark brown and it is lower/shorter then expected. Still 5-star!

    • A "Good for now" TV stand

My husband and I bought this TV stand as we moved into our first apartment together. The main reason we bought it was because of the price. It was cheap and it gets the job done. We have had this TV stand for 6 months now and don't have any major complaints about it. APPEREANCE As with most cheap products, you do sacrifice quality for savings. It looks nice as long you don't look on the underside of the panels where the compressed wood is very visible. It is SMALLER than it appears in the picture. Our 40" Flatscree's base barely fits on top. There is about an inch of space left in the front and on the back of the base. it is also shorter than it looks. If you have a couch in front of your TV, you will not have it at eye level, it is more like at knee level. I would have really liked if it was at least 6 inches taller. ASSEMBLY It was very easy to put together. It can be done alone but thankfully my husband was around to give me a hand. The only tools we needed were a Phillip's screwdriver and a hammer. USABILITY It feels somewhat wobbly and I wish it felt a little more sturdy. The compartments are short. They are not tall enough to stack video games cases or DVD/Blu-Rays in a vertical position. We have to stack them horizontally. The bottom compartments are tall enough to fit our vinyl player, PS3, and Wii U. Overall, it's a "good for now" TV stand. It does what it is suppose to do but we definitely plan to upgrade once we stabilize ourselves financially. ... show more

To start off, most of the people leaving bad reviews have high expectations for such a cost efficient product. I purchased this stand a little over 3 years ago. It was easy to assemble, sturdy, and decent looking for such a cheap product. It is on the smaller side but you would know that if you read the measurements before purchasing. My 47" tv fits on it nicely, however I wouldn't go any larger than that. It's perfect for people who like their tv at eye level rather than mounted on the dang ceiling. Overall, it's a decent product for the price. If you can afford to pay more there are definitely better options out there. However, if you're on a tight budget this stand is not a bad option. ... show more
