The main material- medium density composite wood is made from recycled materials of rubber trees. All the materials are manufactured in Malaysia and comply with the Green rules of production. There is no foul smell, durable and the material is the most stable amongst the medium density composite woods. A simple attitude towards lifestyle is reflected directly on the design of FURINNO furniture, creating a trend of simply nature. Perfect size for my son’s room. Make sure you check dimensions, as it is pretty short, but perfect for larger tvs. My 9 year old helped me put it together and it took us under 10 minutes. No tools needed. The legs just screw into each other/the boards. Great quality for the price.

I spent weeks trying to understand if I should by this TV stand and I wasn't sure if it was a good buy because of some bad reviews. I don't watch my television, so I didn't want to spend much money on it, but because the price was great and I loved the design, I decided to buy it anyway. I am so glad I did. It is very big and super easy to assemble. The parts are made of a cheap material, but that cheap material seems extremely sturdy and because of the architecture of this furniture, I doubt there would be issues with the middle section sinking. I am so glad I bought it. Obviously, it is a TV stand that costs $80, so I don't expect it to last 10 years, and I know I have to be careful on what I put on it, but it seems much sturdier than many TV stand that cost more than $300. My husband and I are big gamers and we wanted to set up our den with as much symmetry as possible when selecting tv stands as we have two 50 inch 4k tvs that we play on. We also wanted to do this on a budget. We loved the price on these tv stands especially considering we could get them in black and gray and not just the typical brown color. We spent less on 2 of these than we normally would have on a single stand. Besides the price, I can honestly say that we had none of the assembly issues or "flimsy" feel that some users have described in other reviews. Let's be clear though, the materials are not solid wood and metal, but particle board and plastic tubing. Don't let that scare you though! We found that all of the pieces were well packaged and without damage. No tools at all are required to assemble the stands as the tubing is made to screw into predrilled holes in the boards. Set up was quick and easy and the instructions even clearly label the weight each shelf holds which is awesome because we have a ton of collectibles we have to unpack and these stands give us a great amount of room to showcase our stuff! The only reason I gave this 4 stars overall is because we were a little sad at how low the tvs sit which is completely a personal preference. We like our tvs to sit a few inches higher but I would recommend these stands to anyone looking for a great price, a nice look, and ease of assembly! ... show more

Would recommend reviewing the digital user manual PDF before buying if you aren't mechanically inclined like me. This TV stand is awesome now that I've assembled it! Assembling it should be a cinch if you follow the manual's recommendation but it's definitely doable alone with a standard hammer and Phillips head screwdriver. The design of this TV allows for a great amount of space for putting stuff like modems, routers, video game consoles, etc. below the main TV part. Awesome for small spaces and should get your TV to eye level while relaxing on most couches. It feels durable and seems like it will last until I want to replace/ get rid of it. ... show more

Whew. Once completed, it’s OK. But it’s NOT that durable or sturdy. Luckily it’s only needed for my 55in TV that is set up on carpet. Because if this was placed on hardwood floors, I’m positive it would not suffice. That being said, it’s suffices on carpet and will work. Once put together, it’s is a clean look. The holes don’t line up on top shelf which concern me the MOST, but I’m going to hope it holds up over time…*fingers crossed* ... show more

    • Cheap Particle Board Broke on Assembly

I wish I had gotten photos but I was blinded by my rage. This entire unit is made of the cheapest, thinnest, and softest particle board I’ve ever seen, and the “dark wood finish” is quite literally tape. Not only was it a bitch to put together, with none of the pieces really fitting all too well — mostly just hammering in those cheap plastic nodes as opposed to actually screwing things together — but when I actually did have to screw something in, it split the wood clean in half! I tried to prevent this from happening, causing it to fall on itself, and then it snapped the little node keeping it up perfectly in half, getting it stuck permanently in the hole! It was here that we realized the finish was just taped on. I couldn’t even get halfway done constructing this piece before it completely broke on me, and I’m glad it happened while I was building it as opposed to finishing it and actually setting my tv on it. Had that happened, I have no doubt in my mind that it would have crushed under the weight and possibly hurt my tv in the process. Please so not waste your money on this product, especially if you are like me and need a cheaper alternative because you’re poor. You’re just going to be doing yourself a disservice and you’ll have to request a refund anyways — thankfully for me, amazon did so without question (probably saw the mess I had to put back in the box). If you really need an item at this price, find a more reliable vendor. ... show more

I recently moved across the country and had to abandon most of my furniture. I ended up having an extremely tight budget to furnish my bedroom. I was tired of having a room with mismatched second hand furniture. So I decided to look up Amazon sets and found this. It isn’t furniture meant to pass down to your children but if you have a $500 budget to furnish a bedroom you can get a tv stand, dresser, nights stands and so many other options that all fit in the same design. They are also extremely easy to put together. I’m assuming taking them apart should be fairly easy as well! Which is amazing!!!! Almost all cheaper furniture can’t be broken down for future moves. But the screw in legs make it super easy to break down and move. One recommendation would be to use coasters on side tables and whatnot because liquid left to sit and damage the paneling. This is the perfect discount option to keep a common theme in a room without spending a fortune. ... show more
