Before buying this I read through some reviews, as I usually do. Based on some of them I was hesitant to make this purchase. One review said it took 3 hours to put together. Another review said you can’t adjust the shelving height. Another review said the directions were unclear. There was even a review that said you would have to drill your own holes for the shelving to go into place. Needless to say I bought it anyway and I am blown away by the quality. It took me 45 minutes to build this thing. Anyway, it was very easy to build, the directions couldn’t have been simpler and you can absolutely adjust the shelving on either side. Now, I do see that there are pictures of different types of consoles in the reviews, which I was confused by. But, if you’re buying the one in the picture I included, you’re mechanically inclined and you have a screw driver (hopefully you have a drill/driver because that makes it 10 times easier) and a rubber mallet, this will be a simple for you. The flame lighting looks really cool, I was impressed by that. And the heat output surprised me, given that the vent looks very small. It toasted up my whole game room in 15 mins. I highly recommended this to anyone looking to add a nice aesthetically pleasing ambiance to their living space. ... show more

If you can't invest in something very expensive, this is an excellent product. This worked perfectly for what I needed. It's not difficult to assemble and it looks good. Delivery was very quick and careful. The only thing I didn't like was the very low feet, I replaced them with others and that made it much more valuable. But yes, I recommend it if, like me, you can't invest in something very expensive. ... show more

I rarely leave reviews but don’t want anybody else to waste their money. The heat runs for a small amount of time, shuts off and never comes back on until it is manually shut off for several hours and then turned back on. Extremely disappointed. It’s all put together now which means the only way to return it would be to disassemble it, find a new huge box, and get it to a UPS store. It weighs 80 lbs.
