The assembly was easy as the instructions were clear. I am not a patient man but I didn't even get frustrated. It also helps keep the cords and coax away from our very inquisitive Pug. It was a little time consuming to put together but not too confusing. We like it, but it probably isn't best if you have small children. The top seems just a touch unstable and if I try to shift it I can't grab it from the top or it feels like it'll pop off because of the way the top is attached. I wouldn't call it super sturdy but I've put my feet up on it (I know, I know) and nothing popped or broke so it's durable enough. I'd give it 5 stars if the top felt a little sturdier but I suppose it could be glued in and that would make it 5 from me. There were so many chips and cracks in this the whole thing . I didn't see them until we finish putting it together. It was a repackaged item and it didn't say that when I bought it. The packaging itself was a mess it had so many pieces and so much Styrofoam shoved inside of it. We had to go through each individual piece and look at it. And realize that it was not in new order. We've told this from a Venice, just part so they hold the camera, the old angle. We think when I bought it. It did not say it was refurbished It just showed me a saving instead of me paying $91. I'd pay $85 so $6 less This was a terrible experience. ... show more

I'm using this table as a tv table as I suspect most people are doing, even though it was listed as a coffee table. I read one critique by one person saying he/she thought it was easy and assembled it in about 20 minutes. I'd say that person was either fibbing or a genius or a person from another dimension. admittedly i'm not really good timewise at assembling furniture but I always finish and the piece of furniture looks good when I finish. this one was no exception - it took me a few hours. I have one little complaint and that is that no tools came with the table. the screws that came had very small heads and none of my screwdrivers would fit, then I remembered I had three of those little wrenches (I can"t for the life of me think of the name of them) and one of them had a screwdriver head on one end. this is the only reason I was able to complete the table. over all I gave it a 5 star rating because it became a relatively sturdy and lovely piece of furniture when I finished. although I only have a 24" tv this table is long enough (almost 4' long) and sturdy enough to handle a tv with a much bigger screen. ... show more
