Please note: This TV stand is very, very short. I could see a lot of people not paying attention to the listing's measurements and overestimating the size of this stand. That aside, this is a very cool TV stand if you need a small, short little stand. It was very simple to put together and the final product looks great. I had a specific need for a small, corner TV stand that could support a smaller (but still heavy) CRT TV. It's perfect for sitting on a beanbag or other seat close to the floor, just like the good ol' days. The stand would definitely be way too short if you were sitting on a couch or bed. But it fit my needs perfectly. I'll update this if the stand catastrophically fails or something. ... show more

This stand was perfect for my 55 inch TV. It fit perfectly in a corner and works for the colors in the room. It took 10 minutes to assemble and seems turdy enough.

Product serves its purpose, not high quality but it looks fine from the front, holds my TV well. Does the job. Be gentle putting it together as it is made of light compressed wood chips, could stratch easy. For under $50 not bad!

So, I like the way this looks overall. The box and Styrofoam were damaged to smithereens, but there was no major damage to the actual product. Almost every shelf has surface scratch marks, though. One of the small shelves has some damage around a hole. A few of the twist pipes don't go on straight, but since it's plastic, I could pull them easily into place upon assembling more parts. I love the grey color and all the shelves. The design is pretty modern and cool, and it's lightweight. Now the part that bothers me, a lot: where the tv goes is.so.short. I measured, but it's hard to judge when you don't have the actual product. My TV now sits below the level of my ottoman. It looks weird and it's not as easy to use the remote now. I really think this product can be improved if they include 2 extra long poles, 2 fewer short poles, and flip-flop the instructions when constructing the shelves on the sides, taller shelves on bottom, smaller on top, and therefore raising up the middle shelves including TV platform. Other than that, I do love this stand and I'm keeping it! 3 stars=good/ok. ... show more

    • Cheap Particle Board Broke on Assembly

I wish I had gotten photos but I was blinded by my rage. This entire unit is made of the cheapest, thinnest, and softest particle board I’ve ever seen, and the “dark wood finish” is quite literally tape. Not only was it a bitch to put together, with none of the pieces really fitting all too well — mostly just hammering in those cheap plastic nodes as opposed to actually screwing things together — but when I actually did have to screw something in, it split the wood clean in half! I tried to prevent this from happening, causing it to fall on itself, and then it snapped the little node keeping it up perfectly in half, getting it stuck permanently in the hole! It was here that we realized the finish was just taped on. I couldn’t even get halfway done constructing this piece before it completely broke on me, and I’m glad it happened while I was building it as opposed to finishing it and actually setting my tv on it. Had that happened, I have no doubt in my mind that it would have crushed under the weight and possibly hurt my tv in the process. Please so not waste your money on this product, especially if you are like me and need a cheaper alternative because you’re poor. You’re just going to be doing yourself a disservice and you’ll have to request a refund anyways — thankfully for me, amazon did so without question (probably saw the mess I had to put back in the box). If you really need an item at this price, find a more reliable vendor. ... show more

I take full responsibility for my mistake because I purchased this in the middle of the night and didn’t look at the dimensions, but this is pretty low to the ground. It’s a very nice quality and looks great, but it’s not high at all. Make sure it will work for your space before purchasing.
