I was building a walk in closet in a spare bedroom, using book shelves. In doing this I had some weird sized spaces leftover, that I wanted to still use for storage. There was a light switch in the space, so it had to be very narrow. I never thought I would find a storage unit to fit such a small space. Lo and behold, Amazon has everything. This Furinno Fulda 10 tier(very narrow) book shelf was the perfect size! So simple to build, made well for a book shelf, holds my small clutch bags, so gave me extra storage and I didn’t have to waste this small space. Being so tall and narrow, I did secure it to the wall for stability and I would recommend this for safety. This was super easy to put together. Honestly the instructions were not the best. But it wasn't too hard to figure out. It is exactly as expected. Very cute and very good size. The one downside of this product is that it says you shouldnt put anything heavier than 10 lbs on it which is understandable, but just a little disappointing. It does seem very durable though and not cheap at all. It came with all the proper hardware to set it up. It is also stable and does not wobble. This is my 6th+ shelf I have purchased from furinno for my tiny apartment. I have a couple of different sizes from them. And so far, furinno have never steered me wrong. The assembly is relatively easy, I am just relatively kinda dumb when assembling things lol. If the instructions were much more detailed rather than what's shown. I think I would've had a better time with it. - Sturdiness is okay, yes it's wobbly but it's not like it's gonna tumble over on itself lol. - Functions as it should, I love the irregular design. I was looking for a shelf that wasn't just all standard size cubes. - Thickness is good, when screwing it was a bit difficult, but all the holes were pre drilled and everything aligned as it should too. I like the size as well, not too big for me. As I really needed a shelf for my very small apartment, this worked. But it's also not too small as I was able to decorate it to my liking. It fits many of my adorable little trinkets and books. I’ve got a lot of Furinno shelves and I’ve always loved them because they’re great quality for a good price. Yeah, either they’ve slashed their QC or this isn’t Furinno…and I’m genuinely questioning the latter. I’ve never gotten anything from them where the packaging and instructions weren’t clearly marked with the brand name and there is nothing on this indicating that it’s actually Furinno and not some knockoff being passed off as such. Issues: 1. Not all the long screws were the same. One was very def for a different product. I made it work. 2. The holes were barely there and don’t quite line up. Again, I made it work. 3. Thanks to the above issue, the top and bottom pieces aren’t flush with the side panels and I had to fuss with the back panel to get it to slide in and fit correctly. 4. The movable shelf width is cut short so there’s visible space on either side. I won’t putting anything even remotely heavy on it because I wouldn’t trust it to hold. 5. The little back wedges, again, have no screw holes on the shelf, so putting them on, you have to be super careful not to punch through the backboard. 6. Why are there no felt or rubber feet to put on this thing??? 7. The put-together shelf is heavy. Also unlike Furinno which is normally fairly lightweight. So yeah. It’ll suffice for my purposes and I’m not returning it because I’m not taking it apart after all the hassle of getting it together. But I am annoyed it cost more than $15 because it shouldn’t. ... show more
