What i liked about it is that it has 3 different setting for temperature. I have thick hair , but medium heat worked for me , knowing that I have short hair and needed it for touch ups only. Size wise is pretty good for traveling. I did not give it a higher star , because honestly i don't know how long will it last. For now it's good ror what I need. ... show more

I don’t normally leave super detailed reviews. I bought this product to give it a shot. I have super, super thick hair. And when I say thick hair, everyone that has ever cut my hair has remarked on how truly think it is. I have tried this product once and it does exactly what I’ve been looking for, and trying to do with my own flat iron, the beach waves. It also does curls and flattening. And it slides across my hair without feeling like I am pulling it out from the roots, very easily. I am very impressed! I had the other version that had 4 temperature settings and it worked really well, but I like the idea of this one's 5 degree differences. Great in theory, but every time I pick it up my finger accidentally turns the dial. This NEVER happened on the all black version. All of a sudden the temp is down to 320. I pick it up again, and it's at 410 degrees. No way to lock your setting. Also yhe plates on this one pull my hair. The other version glides right through. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Perfect straightener for the price! I needed a new one but didn't want to pay a ton of money. Found this gem and love it! Love that you can twist the bottom to change the degree of heat (and it heats super fast) love the lock closure for easy storage. It's light weight so easy to hold, and the curling feature works unlike other straightener brands that say it curls too, this one actually does. Also has different color choices. I picked blue and super pretty. Just a fun added perk. It was packaged really nicely as well so I knew the company actually cared about their stuff. When using it (I use 400Β° heat) my hair is soft and shiny. It doesn't dry out my hair and I only have to go through each piece once, maybe twice (depending on hair day).
