The medical-grade foam core includes a layered orthopedic foam core topped with gel-infused memory foam. Micro gel beads help keep the bed cooler while memory foam conforms to your pet's shape providing superior support of joints and pressure points. Gel foam has cooling properties reducing the sleeping surface by 1 or 2 degrees, wicking heat away from your pet. I very rarely write reviews, but this one deserves it. We've bought multiple of these because my dog loves it so much. It's the perfect size, it's soft and cozy, and the best part is the two sides of raised pillow. My dog loves to alternate resting his head on the raised part, or stretching out diagonally. He also likes putting his front legs over the raised part when he just wants to watch us walk around. UPDATE 8/31/2023 Received replacement bed and it was perfect! It was still shoved into a, in my honest opinion, smaller box. The bed was free of stains, tears, and looked brand new. My boy loves it and hangs out with my in my office while I'm working. He's a half Lab/half Rhodesian Ridgeback and weighs around 90 lbs and fits perfectly in the bed. Upped the overall rating to 4 Stars This isn’t my first furhaven bed so i know what I’m getting when I order a furhaven. What I received this time is absolutely not up to the standards that furhaven has shown in the past. As soon as I opened the box, I saw a tear in the seam. The bed was shoved into a much too small box so it’s no wonder that there was a tear. I should have closed up the box then but said well maybe I can just sew it up. When I pulled it out of the box and laid it on the floor, there was so many fluff balls on it. And one corner would not lay flat. It’s like the bed was returned previously. It has held up great the past 3 years and both of my dogs sleep on it together every day. I’ve tried separate beds but they prefer to share lol. I’m buying another because the zipper finally gave up after washing for years and the foam is coming out but it’s still useable

I think for the price of the bed, it was worth it. Bed seems comfortable enough for my dogs, although it could be a bit hot during summer days, I have a siberian Husky and it can get pretty hot for her sometimes, the other puppy seems to enjoy it more so it's a win for us 😆

Had to get a new bed for my beast. This one was a quick go to since he is spoiled and I didn't want him sleeping on just the hard tray of his crate. So far so good. He hasn't eaten or torn it apart yet, so that's a good sign. It definitely went flat quicker then his last one though, so probably will be replacing it more sooner then later. But I'll clean it up and let the cats use it. The squish will be good for them lol ... show more

14 months after buying 2 of these beds for my senior goldens 1 of them got torn. Fortunately I'm good with a sewing machine and made the necessary repair. My dogs alternate napping on the beds and moving to cooler flooring or the couch for overnight. Found these easy to vacuum and the foam is holding up so I do recommend them. Would get 5 stars if fabric had held up a bit better. Still these might be the best beds for big dogs that we've found so far. ... show more
