If you're in the market for an affordable paddle board that's perfect for you and your furry friend, look no further than the FunWater Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board! As a first-time paddle boarder, I was looking for a board that wouldn't break the bank, and this one fit the bill. It was a great investment, especially considering how much money I would have spent renting boards instead. When the paddle board arrived, I was so excited to hit the water with my pup. However, I had a bit of a setback when I noticed one of the fins was damaged. Despite this minor flaw, I was able to use the board without any issues. Inflating the board was a bit of a workout and much more strenuous than I expected. I personally found it was worth it to experience the fun of paddle boarding but wouldn’t recommend this board for someone seeking a peaceful and a no-work experience. Speaking of my pup, she hilariously jumped into me during our first outing and made us both fall into the ocean! Although we were soaked, I couldn't stop laughing. The board held up great and we were able to get back on it with ease. I was initially worried about my dog's nails puncturing the SUP, but the board proved to be high quality and durable. Overall, I highly recommend the FunWater Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board to anyone looking for an affordable, beginner-friendly option.     • The pump works, the board is great!
So the whole saga. When I got my dolphin 🐬 board I loved it, I pumped it up with the included hand pump in about 12 minutes or so, and I’m senior woman, 😝 . I got scared I was going to pop it if I kept pumping, and the gauge never registered the psi. The support staff at Funwater had already reached out to me to let me know the gauge won’t respond until you get to six or seven psi. They told me to test it by putting my hand over the opening and pumping, nothing, so they immediately sent me another gauge. Still nothing, but I love my pretty board so I bought an electric pump, when I got it to 10 psi, it was like a 🥁. I mean it really was tight. So I got the hand pump out and attached it, it did register at 10 psi. Then I realized I’m the problem, I unscrewed the pump hose and then covered the opening, pumped it, and it does work. You gotten unscrew that hose to test it, I’m so dumb. It would be impossible for me to have over inflated the board with the hand pump because as the psi goes up it gets harder and harder to pump. I never got to even 6 psi with the hand pump so that is why it didn’t register the psi. Believe me, you can play the board like a bongo drum 🪘 no need to worry about over inflation. I never have used a pump like this before and was worried for nothing, such a worry wort, 😂. All the accessories are nice, the seat is good for what it is, I added a waterproof cushion for more comfort. And I bought a kayak paddle. I didn’t even try the included paddle cause I’m using it setting down. Got my dog a mermaid life vest, she fell twice into the water, so it works to hold her up good. Sophia looked so cute 🥰 in her mermaid 🧜♀️ suit! It is light weight but I couldn’t carry it by myself. It does have nice handles in the center and on the back, I wish there was another one on the rear end. I added leashes to the front where there is an attachment ring under the board, just in case I needed to be towed in, 😂. Me and my dog sat on it and it is very stable, it was getting dark so only stayed on the San Diego Bay half an hour. Don’t go in we’re it’s muddy my flip flops 🩴 were sucked off my feet 🦶 by the mud 😆 yuck 🤢! Next time I’m finding a Sandy launch point. It’s a beautiful 🤩 board, and Funwater is a great company! We love how easy it is to set up and deflate this stand up paddle board. It is so much fun to use. It’s backpack design makes it easy to carry. We love it so much we bought a second one.

    • PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!

SYNOPSIS: Recommend for anyone that wants to try paddle boarding without investing a lot of money into it immediately, if you decide you don’t like the sport. The stability and maneuvering is great for the price. This is a great value and isn’t built so cheap that it’s not an enjoyable experience. Inflation- Manual pump has single and dual settings. Manual inflation easy up to 8psi. 8-13psi is difficult. I make it work by taking my time and quick rests. If you’re able-I recommend inflating at home or bring a electric pump with you. I like the “deflate” option to make it super compact to pack back up. Stability- Surprising good! I’m 150lbs-cannot give advice for heavier paddlers. I felt more secure on this compared to a similar board FunWater brand board. Maneuverability- Great! It only has 1 fin and easy to turn. Paddle- Floats. But it’s a very basic entry level paddle. Recommend upgrading paddle if you decide you want to stick with paddle boarding. Accessories- 6 d-rings with bungies on the front to hold a good amount of gear. 4 more d-rings in the center for other attachments, like a kayak seat or a board strap for transport. CONS- The fin is hard to slide on a new board. I used sandpaper to take some plastic off the fin to help. With that said-still takes effort to slide on. Practice putting fin on/off at home before you use. UNKNOWN- I don’t expect this SUP lasting very long with scrapes from various water obstructions like rocks and concrete pylons, but I actually don’t know what the longevity will be. Haven’t needed to patch holes yet-not sure how that process will be. I took a chance on this particular iSUP (paid $150 during a sale) with the intention to sell if I didn’t like the stability. I’m surprised how much I like it and it works very well for me. I upgraded to a lighter paddle-highly recommended. I can secure all my gear onto the board during trips. Recently went on a 5-hr paddling excursion thru wakey lakes, bays, and cuts— I was really impressed. ... show more
