This is a high quality, durable, but basic board. If you are on a budget, this is a great choice. And I don't think you will miss what you don't have in a more "deluxe" board. Most importantly, I think you need to be aware of what this doesn't come with because that will be the biggest factor in perhaps deciding to buy a different package even if it's more money. 1. You will need a pump, either manual or powered. 2. You will need a paddle. It might surprise you that this does not come with one. 3. You may want an ankle strap. Not necessary in most conditions. 4. You will likely want a bag to store and transport it. Differences between this basic board and a more "deluxe" board, imo. 1. This board only has one medium size fin. It is easy to install and remove. A deluxe board has 3 fins, 2 small 1 large. If you are new to SUP you probably won't notice. 2. This board only has one bungee tie down strap in the front, as opposed to the back also. 3. No drink holder. 4. The suggested psi is 20. Most boards it's 15. That is a lot of extra sweat equity to get that extra 5 psi. I tested the board in the pool at 16 psi just to see. It felt fine and probably firm enough, not much flex even as I pumped my legs up and down. I weigh 185lbs. When I take this to the river I'll inflate it to 20 psi though because I have an electric pump, so might as well. It is very light weight of that is important to you. This budget friendly board is perfect for me because it will be my extra board for my guests to use so I can invite people to paddle board with me. Side note. Not that it really matters because it's an outdoor item, but it does have a very strong chemical smell. I opened the packaging inside the house but had to immediately take it outside.

This is my first SUP and I didn’t know what to expect when I first got it. Well, that’s not entirely true. I did expect a paddle to come with it. But I was disappointed because there is no paddle included. This SUP, I found out, is the absolute bare bones version. Which is fine if you’re just starting like I am. But by not including some things, the user doesn’t know what they should have. I wish I had done more research and ordered one that included a bit more than bare bones basic.

Ok, so it's not a single item. It also comes with a Schrader inflation valve. The valve is the twist lock style that is common on many paddle boards. The short one, not the long one that looks like a castle. The internal deflation valve is super easy, just press and the air starts rushing out. I have to classify this as a budget board strictly based on price. It's basically an a-la-carte paddle board. The included valve is super handy but not entirely necessary as the usual SUP pumps have all the adapters. The board inflates very firm if you go up to 15 PSI. The graphics say 12-15, the board is printed with 20psi. I got nervous after 15 and topped out at 15.9. It held fine, even on a very hot day (100*). The EVA deck is very nice on this board, it's not the standard stuff you'd see on a roll that could also work on a boat. It appears to be custom. The straps, rear D ring and handle are all basic but super functional. This is my first board with a single fin, so I'm not sure how that will work out in the end, but you could add more later if it doesn't feel like you're tracking well enough. What I love most is that this is such a low price point that it makes paddle boarding accessible to everyone on a solid platform.

Photo shows this 10' board next to a nicer 11' board we also own. The kids were happy paddling it. Compared to the nicer board, this doesn't have the four D-rings to which I can attach a seat. And this comes w/the primary fin, but doesn't have the 2 additional smaller fins. It didn't come w/a bag nor pump nor ankle strap nor a paddle. It did come w/a good schrader valve pump adapter, which worked great w/my Ryobi battery-powered pump. It didn't come w/instructions, but 12 PSI worked well for supporting a couple of kids. Now I see this product page says 12-15 PSI. This adapter works on my other board too. We did not really need the things it was lacking, so this was a perfect SECOND board to bring along for our kids' friends. If someone is looking for their first board and is not a strong swimmer, then they may prefer one that comes w/an ankle strap.
