This really is stringy! I've been using a mucin serum from another brand for a while now, so I'm over the snail-mucin weirdness, but this really is stringy to the point where it requires some practice to get it on your face without making a mess. It's not a serious problem, though: just takes some getting used to. The cream itself is very light and quickly and easily absorbed on my face, which I like very much. It's at least as moisturizing as most of the creams I've used, and the lightness makes it easy to add more if you need more. It's very much like a gel-based moisturizer, and so works especially well in warmer weather. I do wish there was something on the jar or box that indicated where this came from, though.

I like this snail cream. It hasn’t made my hypersensitive combination skin breakout. Hydrates well and makes my U shape dry/flaky skin not looking dry when having this on. It does leaves a film that if you put it on in the morning and wash it off at night, you can feel it being washed off, which is fine by me as it’s like a protective layer to the skin. It spreads well and skin feels soft afterwards. The cream is very watery/runny though, I do prefer this to be in a bottle that has pump for easier application and keeping germs from entering the jar from fingers.

I really enjoy using this cream, I've tried snail cream before but only remember its texture. This one has a similar viscous consistency yet it feels light and gentle on the skin. It's easy to spread and you don't need to use a lot at once, I have normal to dry skin and I've found that applying in small amounts works best for me, and use more if needed. My skin feels well-hydrated after using it and has a glowing, dewy look. There's no sticky or tacky residue left behind, I use it day and night and have no problem wearing it under my sunscreen and makeup I checked all the ingredients on EWG like I usually do for my skin care products. Most of the ingredients have safe ratings, except for the last three. Also, It's interesting that mucin is listed as the third ingredient instead of the first, and I actually didn't realize there's fragrance in this cream because I didn't detect any scent. Overall, I'd give this a 4 stars rating because of the ingredients even though my skin really likes it. Hope you find my review helpful :)

If you can get past the snail part, this is a really great cream. Not slimey or smelly, it feels luxurious on.

I got this for my wife who is in need of a moisturizer for her older skin. The first step was to get her to get over that it was snail “slime “. It went on easily and worked into the skin on her face. She put it on at night and felt no residual product in the morning. She said her skin did feel somewhat more soft. She will be making this a part of her routine for now. The cost is somewhat high compared to other products out there. If it does amazing things she will get more. For now it is part of her routine.

This is my second snail mucin product. The only notable difference to me so far is that this does not have an applicator/scoop. This is annoying because of the unique, stringy, sticky texture of this moisturizer, it is not easy to get out of the jar without making a mess. As far as the moisturizing benefits go, this does seem to be working. It absorbs very quickly, which is nice so I can move onto my next skin care step. It plays well with other products it does not feel sticky or like I am wearing anything once absorbed.

I guess it's supposed to be sticky-slimy-viscous if it's truly snail mucin, but it's hard to work with because you can't just dab some out of the jar. And once it's on your face, it dries to a kind of tacky (sticky) texture. But all the annoyance aside, it did make my skin feel amazing the next day, which I totally was not expecting, since it's rare that these products really do much. This one did, so I do recommend.

Okay we've all heard the latest rave on snail mucin for your skin....and this is a great product to try! I can't compare the value for price as it's unavailable so I can't note if it's worth the cost. However, I can say that it's incredibly soothing to my face and leaves it soft and glowing. I recommend for that alone!
