Saw this go on sale and just had to get it. I originally wanted to get this for my 7 y/o son but the price was just a tad bit too much and I already got him the Lego HP advent calendar so I passed on this one. Now I purchased it for much less, had to open to see if I have any defective or double characters, so far they look fine. Characters are still in sealed plastic and the windows are still unopened since I opened the side of the box. Can't wait for Dec 2020 my son will be very thrilled. I do wish they included 2 Hermiones since they did 2 Harrys and Rons, overall I am still pleased with this. As with everything I review, I’ll start out by telling you what I paid for this. $25 was the absolute right price in my valuation, and I’m glad I hunted around rather than accept the $40 it was typically going for. For $25, this is a slam dunk. $30 maybe. But any higher than that, I’d probably be slightly disappointed. That being said - this was a HUGE hit with my child. The presentation is adorable with the doors that open to reveal the numbered punch-out compartments, and the figures themselves are just TOO CUTE. The best part for me is that we we were able to put the figures back in the compartments and use the original box to store them! One thing I would have liked was a guide for the names of each character (it’s been a while since I saw the movies, so I really had to think on a few of them), but that’s easily found on the Funko website. I’ll order one of these again for sure - but only at the right price! :)

We bought the Funko Harry Potter Advent Calendar last year and the kids loved it, so of course we had to purchase this year's advent calendar. After a quick peek, it turns out that we received two of Mr. Filch. A little disappointing but not enough to deduct a star. It's still a nice assortment of Yule Ball themed characters. Update: I contacted Funko about the issue, and they said they are happy to replace the duplicate but do not have replacements available this early. They asked that I email [email protected] the first week of November and to include the following: Clear photo of the duplicates, proof of purchase, and a valid US shipping address (no PO boxes). Hope this information is helpful to those that also received duplicates in their set. Update 11/12/19: I emailed Funko on November 1 with the requested information. I also told them which figure I was missing from the calendar. (Many thanks to the reviewers that posted pictures!) Customer service was excellent. They promptly sent out the replacement Igor Karkaroff figure to complete our advent calendar, and FedEx delivered it today!

AMAZING! My son is SUPER into Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Yule Ball) is definitely our favorite book and movie from the series, so we were excited for the characters in this box! I researched and read reviews (even watched an un-boxing on YouTube) and knew he would LOVE this Advent Calendar. Honestly, our whole family had a fun time opening this calendar each day. I even used them for our Shepherd/Elf of the Shelf. I'm nervous for the next calendars, due to the repeat of characters, but definitely LOVE the amazing details of each. There is nothing bad to ever say about the HP Funko Characters! My son was a little disappointed to receive double Harry and Ron and really wanted Voldemort, but we would definitely recommend and will purchase the 2020 for this next Christmas!

We've been getting Harry Potter Advent calendars from Funko for a few years now. This one was really cute and contained different characters not in other years. For example...MADAME MAXINE! How could you not want Hagrid's date to the dance. And Filch! There's a Filch! But, as with ever other year...too many Harrys. Honestly, the kid is the most boring character when it comes to the plastic mold. I don't need two Harrys (one in full dress, one in rolled up shirtsleeves after the dance). Same with Ron. Snooze. Send us a Peeves or a Rita Skeeter as a beetle! She was there! Overall however, great product.

I really like Funko Pops, I collect them, I collect Harry Potter ones, and I already had their holiday set from last year, so I tried this one. I liked most of it, but when I got to the end I started getting duplicate characters (same character, different outfits) before I had even gotten all the main characters, which initially concerned me. It was all Yule Ball characters, but I felt like they could have tagged in some other characters before duplicating, maybe a Dobby, or something from that movie. It really isn't that big of a deal, but I was hoping for 24 different characters total.

I bought this after xmas when the price dropped a little. It was nice to have something fun to look forward to every day in January. I was nervous after reading some reviews about missing figures and duplicates, but I got lucky and aside from the Weasely and Patel twins (and even those aren't exactly the same) didn't get any duplicates and I had all the figures. I loved the Yule Ball theme too. I'm not sure I'd buy another Harry Potter advent calendar; there's only so many mini Funkos I need. But then again, if they came out with a really different theme next year, I just might.
