The main reason I chose this specific Adirondack chair is that it is composed of composite material instead of conventional wood and has a footrest option. Over time, composite chairs tend to last far longer. I've had wooden chairs in the past and they quickly deteriorate due to the weather. I believe this one is worth the money long-term because the material doesn't splinter, fade, or fracture as wood does. The fact that it doesn't require staining is what I valued most. Even if it becomes scratched, you won't notice chipped paint or raw wood underneath because the color is all throughout the material. It comes in several different colors which allows you to coordinate to your outside area. The chair weighs more than I expected. If you rearrange your outside area or move your furniture inside and outside based on the weather this might be a drawback, but it is ideal if you plan to keep it outside permanently. I don't have to be concerned about it toppling over or blowing across the yard on a windy day because it is heavy and sturdy. I encountered one obstacle, but assembly wasn't difficult. Everything you need is included in the box, which also contains tools. The pull-out footrest is one feature that sets this chair apart from others I've seen. It is integrated into the frame and can slide in or out based on your preference rather than being a separate item you must move. You can stretch out and lean back in order to fully extend. Since it allows you to sit upright with your feet on the floor or recline with your legs up is something I found appealing. All things considered, I'm pleased with the chair because of the permanent seating arrangement on my patio.

I love the blue color. I bought it for my new deck. This folding Adirondack chair is both comfortable and functional, making it perfect for relaxing outdoors! The retractable ottoman is a fantastic feature, allowing you to stretch out and lounge comfortably. I love that this chair is foldable. It makes storing it so easy and saves space. The adjustable back angle and the retractable footrest are big pluses, making the seat feel so comfortable. It’s really good for relaxing in the sun. The cup holder is also a thoughtful touch—it's large and slidable. I have another two Folding Adirondack chair in this company. Those chairs are some of the most comfortable chairs I've ever had in my life. What's different about this chair from the other adirondack chairs I have? The panel on the back can be moved in three stages to lie further back. And A footrest to put your feet on can be retracted into the chair. This chair is perfect for lying down and reading a book, or taking a nap while soaking up some sunlight. Seriously, this chair is really relaxing. It took two people about 15 minutes to assemble. Assembly was no problem at all. All the nuts and holes were in place. My 65 year old husband has no trouble putting this together.
